Fans raise an author’s ego while critics keep it in healthy check.
As a person who's been writing here (and thus criticized) for over a year now I've come to learn grammar can be a defining element in an author's skill (or it atleast seperates the obviously new from the skilled). To be able to manipulate and use words to bring across a message. Poor grammar can cause a reader to get something the wrong way. It'll also disturb flow.

Thank you for the comments. I would like to say that my grammar has improved since Chapters 1,2,3, and 4 of Part 1. Please read more of the story and comment on those Chapters/Parts. I thank you for the comments, but
Attack of the Revenant Cow is certainly not a 'noob story with a twist'.
Bob- I very much hope you will be able to make it! If not, you will still get the party favors! ;)
