((This actually seems the opposite of OP to me. You’re god seems a little specific, and limited (as in it’s powers and tools) apart from it’* vast collection of servants. Which is perfectly fine.

One thing to note.
You’ve given your god’s age as “old” which generally should specify something that came to being soon before, or with humanity. (Whereas pre-human gods might be ‘very old’)

This is very interesting to me because it would suggest that your god was once actually quite weak. But as humans evolved, and learned, and built, and became more sophisticated, your god would have grown to become pretty powerful.
Just imagine the kind of god he would have been when humans were using crude tools and living in caves and trees etc.

This leads me to some lore I’d like to share with all of the players.

Most gods know that humans were created by a very, very old god named Prometheus. Some say this was intentional, others think it was an accident, but one set into motion by the First and the Second.
The first humans were strong, and brilliant minded.
Jupiter was afraid of them, and the power they could give to Prometheus, who was a kind of rival to Jupiter. Gods have a hard time fighting one another and ever reaching an end, but they have an easier time pitting armies against each other, and the first humans would have made a good army.

Jupiter destroyed many of them, scattering and weakening the rest (so rumors go).
What humans remained would have been primitive and “caveman-like” after Jupiter was finished with them.

Needless to say, Prometheus lost the fight that Jupiter began with his fear. Prometheus was imprisoned thereafter by Jupiter (most believe).

I’ll add that lore to the reserves, and I’ll also add you to the players’ list, dew*ty.
Welcome aboard.

Your character was sent a pine needle from Ambriel’s world. This called him to Bastet’s realm where Amrbiel had worked through her to assemble a congregation of gods.
These gods were discussing what might be killing the gods and why, and whether or not they should search for human envoys for allies, or the try to find the Fates for answers.
In the midst of this meeting, an as of yet unseen force has violently broken its way into Bastet’s realm, weakening her greatly.

You may enter as though your god has been present at the meeting so far. I think that’d be easiest.))

Throughout the whole meeting, Randell never said a word, instead listening to the discussion and so far, he was rather neutral. Thanks to him spending most of his time in his own realm, he didn't know which was better, fate or mortals, but he knew that they have to do something, having several of your peers killed is something to worry about.

Due to not being mentioned throughout the meeting, he came with an idea for a device to cloak him and his presence to everyone, not even a change in the air. Satisfied with himself, he quickly wrote down the idea on a scrap of darkprint paper he had with him.

Just as he put the scrap into his pocket, the ground split open and darkness started pouring out of it into the room, causing Bastet to panic.

"How rude" he said, a spear-like object materialized in his mechanical arm and his trio of drones came out of seemingly nowhere to float behind him, prepared to fight whatever this darkness was.

*Don’t waste your engery,” Elatha said to Sol. “If this it is a god breaking into this realm, you are only going to exhaust yourself.”

Fighting between gods was a great ordeal, more complex than the brawls of mortals who could win fights by throwing punches- or in extreme cases, wielding weapons and armor.
Gods were nearly impossible to hurt by attacking. When gods fought, their quarrels became wars between armies of their own creations. They would unleash avatars, servants, slaves, and monsters upon the underlings of one another and try to exhaust one another to the point at which they could either imprison the other, or destroy their form- a less preferable end, as most gods could exist without a body. Destroying a god’s body only meant that they could someday rebuild that body and attack again.
So long as a god was receiving prayer and worship from their followers, they could expend vast amounts of energy. Such fights could last centuries or longer if the gods were valued by mortal-kind well enough.
That being the case, the most powerful gods settled differences with other sorts of contests, as to avoid wasting time.

“I do not think this is a god, my friend” Bastet said., watching Sol’s attack as it was swallowed by the dark. “It feels different.*

*It feels old, whatever it is,” Elatha observed. He could sense a strange kind of ancient wisdom in this force. It had seen much, been to many places. It knew secrets.

Piece by piece, the walls and ceiling of the palace were ripped away, leaving the gods standing in the desert of Bast’s home.

The bright blue sky had been filled with dust, but moving through it, they would see clearly, the twisting shape of a serpent. It was in the sky- so large that it must have been surrounding the globe of Bast’s world, coiling around it’s atmosphere.

“It cannot be!” Bastet cried.

“This thing…” Elatha said confused. It reminded him of stories he heard before. Names like “the Red Dragon” and “Niddhogr” came to mind.

*Apep,” Bastet whispered a name Elatha did not recognize. “The snake of Chaos. My colleague god, Set has always kept Apep in check- prevented it from destroying realities and timelines as it swims through the eonfold.”

“Would Set loose it on you?” Elatha cried out, over the sound of wind and thunder as Apep swirled across the sky, hissing a sound that was like steam and fire.

“I do not know-* Bastet began.
The entire world trembled.
A long deep crack appeared in Bastet.
“You must leave this place,” Bastet said. *Apep is destroying my realm, and my body with it! I cannot hold it back!”

Well, it seems that no creatures came to confront them, rather it was another god, so therefore, pulling out his new weapon was unnecessary. "I was hoping I could field test this new weapon." he muttered to himself, disappointed.

This god, Apep, according to Bastet, seemed rather powerful, blowing away the building they were in such that the whole sky was visible, dust everywhere. In the sky, was a snake-like creature that was Apep, wrecking the whole dimension before the damage spread to Bastet herself, literally, as she told everyone to leave as her realm collapsed around them.

"Alright this situation seems helpless, I'm out of here!" he announced as he transported himself back to his realm.

Around him he could see the familiar endless mountain range and before him stood the centerpiece of his realm, Olu*u. It was hard to miss due to the presence of windows on the mountain and the large door on it. Reaching the large door, a device mounted overhead scanned him before opening.

Inside was a large hallway, made mostly of metal, with Emplos doing their usual things. As he was walking to where Maxohn was stationed, he saw Scients going around, some holding clipboards, others were carrying flasks of coloured liquids and a few pushing trolleys with pieces of machinery on them.

As he entered the room where Maxohn was, the latter greeted him "Well, your inter-dimensional video feed works." Randell replied "Then I trust that you saw what happened?"

"Well, if you replaced the implant in your left eye with a artificial eye, it could have been more clear, but yes, I saw it."

"Well, I'll think of a course of action in my workshop, you go and continue what you were doing." Randell said as he left, taking the elevator to his workshop, located on the peak of the mountain.

The room was circular with transparent walls along with several desks, tables and a wall where he pinned up his ideas to realize later, and his stealth device went up there.

A growl would escape from Sol's throat at seeing the darkness simply swallow his attack. Whatever was going on, he knew it was not normal. His light had always seemed to work on things of darkness before, he had destroyed a greater creature in one of the darkest caves that was now lit when he began his campaign at home. But this darkness, it somehow was able to resist his light.

Still though, the light that he was radiating didn't seem to be going out just yet, which meant that this darkness wasn't all consuming. He was about ready to make another attack when the house broke apart, and the sky revealed itself. Looking up along with the others, he froze at seeing the giant serpent in the sky. Hearing the god who seemed to call this place home name the creature Apep, and say it had something to do with chaos, seemed to trigger something inside of him.

This Apep, was a being of darkness. Sol's light visibly brightened in response to Apep being named, and something inside of him seemed to react. Almost instantly, he felt a hatred for this serpent that was unlike anything he had felt before. Apep was a bringer of darkness, and therefore his enemy. His entire being seemed to want to lash out at the serpent, to send beam after beam of light up at it to show that his light was stronger then it's darkness.

But then, his logical side seemed to kick in when he saw a crack appear on the cat Goddesses body that seemed to be in time with one appearing in the world. Suppressing his inner lights want for establishing dominance over Apep, he listened to her words and frowned. "How we leave," he asks. Having not noticed one of the gods leave already and not sure how exactly he came here, he honestly was stuck. Then, realizing what would happen if the cat goddess stayed, he continued. "You leave to. Survive."

“Little fool…” Bastet said to Sol in a way that sounded more like endearment than insult. “If my body is destroyed, I will create a new one. It may take some time,” she said as her form began to disintegrate to dust. “But a god cannot be killed so long as it has followers. Once I have the energy to create a new shape for myself, I will return to you.”

“If that’s so,” Elatha said, not taking his eyes off the grayed and dust filled sky, behind which the writhing shape of Apep was visible. “Then whoever is murdering the gods will go after their worshipers.”

“Yes,” Bastet agreed. “Undoubtedly. This means we must protect them. But remember also, the value of human envoys… and information that could be gathered from the Fates. Also look for Set. Containing Apep has always been a responsibility he has been able to perform without fault. Apep’s arrival here causes me to fear for what might have befallen Set. Go now,* she said calmly. “Waste no time. If my world collapses with you inside of it, you may be destroyed as well.”

Elatha nodded. This, he was aware of, but he had come to realize that Sol, at least, had little understanding of such things.
Observing that the god, Randell had returned to his own realm, Elatha chose to follow him and ensure that he could still be of help.
“Follow me if you like,” he told the other gods remaining in Bast’s realm. “Or go to investigate these issues, it matters not to me. We will regroup soon.”
Finding a god was easy work, he thought to himself as he sent a request to Randell to be allowed into his home.
If Randell did not give him entrance, he would return instead, to his own so that he could collect his thoughts and prepare to seek out Set- getting Apep back under control seemed like the first task that needed to be dealt with.

As soon as he pinned up the piece of paper, he received a message in his head, stating that Elatha would like to enter his realm, most likely to discuss about this whole ordeal. The other gods did discuss about getting human allies, that or meeting with the fates, though the former seemed to suit Randell more since the countless contraptions he made (most of them gathering dust somewhere) will be of a great boost to a mortal.

He sent a message to Maxohn to allow Elatha into his realm as well as anyone following him, although they should warp to outside the base in order to not set off the warp-alarms inside the base, interrupting whatever is going on in the base.

After informing Maxohn to let them in, he thought about how to defeat Apep, or at least keep it under control, they did say that it wasn't exactly a god so killing off followers probably won't work, even then, he doubted that Apep had many followers.

So for now, the only way to keep Apep under control should be known by Set, the God in charge of that, but if Apep managed to break free, it means that it managed to nullify whatever Set did to contain it, or Set is helping the second or is dead.

Taking the elevator back down to the lower levels, he proceeded to the meeting room which he made if he needed to meet the other Gods. Upon entering the room, there was a large doughnut shaped table, the top made of wood and the edges and legs were made of metal.

In the middle was a large holographic device mounted in the floor. While waiting for the other gods to meet him, he said "Testing, testing." and as he said so, the words 'Testing, testing' in green were projected from the device, which also records audio.

Taking a seat on one of the office chairs, which was cushioned with a soft but firm material. several screens appeared from the device, showing various areas in Oluzu, Randell watching them while waiting for the others.

Within Oluzu, blue lights shone from the floor, leading to the meeting room.

As the newest among them began attacking, he was quickly corrected by Elatha, who pointed out one of the most irritating qualities about combat with other gods. Single combat was impossible, or nearly impossible, to achieve anything with, unless one of the gods had an unfair advantage that had already decided the outcome. Of course, in that case there was no point in calling it actual combat, at least not in the sense of the outcome being possible to go both ways.

As the ceiling was ripped away, however, it became clear that it wasn't exactly another god causing the destruction. In fact, it wasn't clear whether this was entirely intentional or not. The snake of Chaos was as its name implied, and although the chances of it destroying this dimension as it swam by coincidentally - especially since it had, to Eleria's knowledge, been kept in check up until now - were astronomically small, it didn't necessarily mean Apep was the one behind its destruction of this particular point in space and time.

Regardless, it was time to leave. As a few of the others either left or gave Sol some knowledge about what it meant to be a god, Eleria remained sitting on her floating book, watching the snake in the sky as she listened to Bastet go through what she felt was their needed course of action. There were a few branches of investigation that needed to be sought after, but this latest development was something that interested her the most. Apep was an abnormality, something she couldn't help but be slightly fascinated by, and why it was now swimming free was a subject that she wished to know more about.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
