Annie listened to the conversation of everyone talking. She thought it was interesting. She said to Aureus,
“I understand. thank you for the bread. I never been to Port Sarim or Draynor Village.” She thought what he said about Sir Amik and thought it was interesting.

Aranel's eyes flashed when Joric mentioned the plauge in Ardougne. It hit a little to close to home for her, but she quickly looked away from him.
"Oh thats very interesting. I've actually never really been near the sea. It's not close to my home and somehow I just kept avoiding it in my travels. I finally made it to Falador though. I look forward to stopping by Port Sarim. Sounds exciting."
She sighed softly.
"Its easy to forget how big the world really is."
She turned her gaze back to Joric.
"I am sorry about your cousin. I hope that everything goes well."

Joric Ironfist

"Bah, it's just some confusion over horses," the dwarf said dismissively, "but he's the only family I 'ave left, so I 'ave to help 'em." He decided to go back to the topic of cities. "Now the place you really need to see is Keldagrim, homeland of the dwarves. Entirely underground - everything was mined, dug, and sculpted by dwarven hands. You'll find no finer craftsmanship in all of Gielnor."
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Up north, the Black Knights made their move. Their leg harnesses were pummeled by hafted weaponry, but being taller and heavily armoured, they soon punched through the surprised dwarves. The Kinshra poured into the dwarven mines...

* * *

While some plot brooded via crystal, discussion continued in the makeshift infirmary. Two-two didn’t say much, as usual, and just observed quietly. It was clear that Sir Varze was nobody’s friend, and Aranel would not relent. But the heroes could not remain here, yet Aranel was not oblivious to the possible dangers that brewed up north.

“I’m also ready,” was all Two-two said.

Gareth seemed to be in thought. Eventually, he took his leave.
Arnel demonstrated some magic to Annie, and they spoke of how to control magic.

Eventually, off everyone went, joined by one the dwarves, Joric, which Aranel greeted with a drawn arrow. Sir Varze did not seem to notice they left. Two-two remained quiet, lost in her thoughts while Gareth and the dwarf wondered what Aureus’ mask was all about.

Two-two often examined various plants and flowers, a habit of hers.

The rather diverse and noticeable group of adventurers went onward. Just as Joric said, the group were quite the circus!

“Hmm? Circus?” Two-two’s head popped up from a flowering bush, a few butterflies atop her great helm.

As Annie walked with the group feeling more and more confident in herself. She was able to hold fire in her hand and it was in control. She said in excited voice,
”I did it!!!”
She was proud that she was of her power.

((Hi George, yup you're right, sorry I haven't noticed that. You only had two posts since the battle, and suddenly you're outside Falador. I have changed the guards conversation, and yes I will slow down on the time skipping haha. You guys can take the lead here once outside of Falador. I guess I was just too excited to leave Falador and see the world for the first time.))

Aureus remained silent with the group, conserving his energy to walk rather than talk. Then a dwarf came running from behind. With Aranel's bow raised, things were tensed but soon cooled down when they noticed it's Joric Ironfist, who helped with the war just now. The group accepted him, increasing the number to six. Aureus felt safe with the group.

Aureus listened to their conversation and was fascinated with all the names of towns and cities that came up on their lips. He had never heard most of them. All he knew was the location of Kingdom of Asgarnia, Kingdom of Misthalin and a desert to the east. There's Ice Wolf Mountain and Kingdom of Kandarin to the west, that's about it.

They mentioned about his mask, Aureus removed his mask, made a face by sticking his tongue out to Garrett and Joric, before putting it back on.
I just thought I should hide my face out here. I don't want people to be recognizing me. And now that I'm without any gold jewellry on me, I feel light and relieved. This is just a mask I got from the market, nothing special, I suppose it looks villainous.

He has never been to this part of the world, so far south of Falador. Outside the city wall it was all forest with a lot of trees and greenery. There is a stone path leading south among the forest but that's pretty much about it. He could feel the breeze of salty wind on his face. The group were saying something about stopping in Port Sarim, he was just happy to follow wherever they go, after all everywhere is a new place for him.

Falador seemed like a distant memory for him now.
Here for nostalgia and all the times RS has provided me with boundless imagination and creativity.

Aranel listened as Joric spoke about Keldagrim. She had heard of the dwarven city before and knew that it was underground. Something about never seeing the sun again put her off from visiting the city.
“I bet the craftsmanship is beautiful. “
. Aranel continued leading the group away from Falador. As they walked closer to Port Sarim, a saltiness could be tasted on the breeze.
“How much farther?”
The excitement came back to her eyes. Aranel felt very comfortable with her group and felt an odd sense of peace, hence why she dropped her hood. She always hides who she is, being able to display it openly was a breath of fresh air. Everyone accepted her so easily, maybe she has no cause to remain hidden.

Aranel looked on as Annie briefly was able to calm her emotions to control her fire.
"Good Job."
She has never been to the wizards tower before. She knows that they focus mainly on rune-magic and not natural magic like she has.
I hope they can help her. Otherwise this trip will be for naught.
She glanced at Garrett.
He has magic, doesn't seem like he knows it but he has it. I wonder what kind.

Back in Falador, Sir Amik had departed from his keep in anger as no one from the group of heroes has show up as he commanded. He stood outside the gate and watched as two guards were drug across the pavestones closer to him. Sir Amik remainder silent but the older guard decided to speak.
“They left Sir. Aureus headed the group out of the city, but we don’t know where they are going. I’m sorry Sir. News never gets to us in time, otherwise we would have stopped them. “
Sir Amik remains silent and flicked his hand, gesturing for the men to be drug away from him. He watched as some of the dwarves helped rebuild the gate.
There isn't one.

They needed it back up quickly, Lest the black knights hear of their weakness and decide to attack.

Sir Amik was about to turn around and go back inside the keep when he hear a clamoring coming from outside the city wall. He stared at the open gate and watched as a hoard of dwarves came running in. One of them stepped away from the others and approached Sir Amik.
“Sir, the outpost. It has been taken. We no longer control it. The black knights, Sir. They are coming.”

Sir Amik sighed.
“It has begun.”
He turned away and disappeared back into the safety of his knee, dropping the portcullis. He turned to one of the white knights training in the courtyard.
“Find me the blacksmith! He’s the only one who didn't leave. Maybe he knows where the others went and can get them back here. We will need them against the Black Knights if they do choose to attack.”
He looked around at his depleted guards. They lost a lot of men in the battle with the barbarians.

****

A small group of the dwarves from the outpost fled in the opposite direction out of Falador, using the tunnels to come out in East Falador by the building they call the "Party room". Which is quite funny because there are hardly ever any parties there. They had decided to head to Port Sarim. It is a major port filled with many people coming in and out. With the attack on Falador, the knights were depleted. They hoped to reach Port Sarim to find people who would be willing to fight the Black Knights. The Black Knights were hated in most of the land and the dwarves felt secure in the attempt to recruit warriors.

The dwarves were running as quick as their little legs could carry them. They were not too far behind the group of heroes' and if they kept their pace, would eventually meet up with them.
There isn't one.

Annie was very proud of her self that she was able to control her fire power for a few seconds. She felt a little tired. She enjoyed the travel with the group. She replied to Aranel in a tired voice,
” Thank you. It’s so beautiful here. I am half human and half elf.”
