--<<Origin of the Ebon Reaver>>--
The Ebon Reaver, the first Rune Blade, began as nothing but a whisper and rumour passed amongst the clans. Behind locked doors, blacksmithing plans were worked upon frenetically, magicians sought the proper attunement between dark iron and runic energy and skilled swordsmen discussed the ideal shape of the blade.
The number of tries were only one, only one blade was procured that could hold the void energy in its shell.
The blade was a beautifully adorned longsword with runes indented along the blade. The hilt & pommel was made of tempered silver and dark beast leather, a single ruby in the center of the pommel.
Despite the ominous two sided coin of defeat or success, the group carried on.
And so, the moment came... The blade was ceremonially placed on the void altar with the most powerful mages present to imbue it. A certain unmistakenable dread was in the air as it all began.
The chamber, no... Maybe the entire depths quaked as the Void fruitlessly tried to just devour the blade and go back to the altar, but it wasn't able to, a small portion of itself was being drawn towards something, and it objected violently...
Just when we thought the chamber would collapse on us, it all ended in a blink of an eye. The blade had changed, the runic indentations filled with an black & white eerie glow, it had been successfully baptized by the power of Void. Thus, Ebon Reaver was born. Yet this is but the first part of it's short history

--<<The 4-hour war of Te-Kerej>>--
The Loruz Renegades used to be an army, legions of exiled soldiers & civilians united together in a vengeful vendetta. A war had been between the renegades and my people for decades, a war that was ended in one day, under 4 hours.
Prince Kiefar, a prominent son of the Blaque Clan and the one that was rumored to be the next Clan Lord, was given the Ebon Reaver for his involvement in it's creation. For it was he who gathered together the individuals who made it possible. Indeed, Kiefar was a man with a gift of the tongue and the blade.
Kiefar said he was to test the blade and took 10 clan knights with him deep into the cavern system, he wasn't heard of until a scout reported he had been confronted by an impending battalion, about to storm the Stronghold of Blaque.
Kiefar's father, and the current Clan Lord, Zylet Blaque, feared to death for his son, and hurried to the battlefield only to find that the war was over.
The ten of the knights was in relatively good shape, Kiefar was stood on a pile of corpses, holding a blood-soaked Ebon Reaver. Only one renegade had been left alive to tell the tale, and even then, it had been by the grim mercy of Kiefar. The rest of the army had been slaughtered like lambs, no magic or armour able to protect them from the Ebon Reaver's first battle, they were caught off-guard, which cost them their lives. Little details of the actual battle were written down, as Kiefar himself rarely speaks of it and the ten knights who accompanied him shared his sentiment.
The events after is shrouded in mystery, save for a few known outcomes. Kiefar was given the title of Highlord and was appointed new Clan Lord as Zylet stepped back to a life in peace, the Ebon Reaver disappeared without a trace and the appearance of the man known as the 'Bane of Te-Kerej'
Despite that the war has ended, the mysteries of these event sparked a new unease in the hearts of the Moles...

Te-Kerej itself was not a famous place until the battle, then it was looked upon with awe by all who revered the Reaver & Kiefar.
It is one of the largest chambers underground, a single stone bridge suspended over a great chasm, connecting two cliffs. Not the ideal place to battle.
Nowadays, it is often visited by those who search for the lost Blade, looking for any hints as to what may have been triggered in the battle that resulted in its theft.
