An exile can be for lifetime or for a set period, once it is over a group of highly trained stealthers are sent to 'retrieve' the exiled person. but no, no permanently exiled Mole have made their way back.

--<<Noteworthy Locations>>-
While the exact whereabouts of these places are beyond my knowledge, i do remember some lore about them
-The Silenced Mines-
Once inhabited by a long forgotten clan of dwarves, the mines stand empty with nothing more than the distant sounds of chains clanking in the ceiling and cogs scraping against each other as they stand forever dead, what forced the dwarves to leave so hastily? or rather, WHO forced their disappearance? Anyhow, This is the home of the Blaque Family, it is the most deepest part of our regions, except the depths of the Chasm of the Banished.
-Citadel of the Clan Lords-
An ancient structure built back in the days when gods walked the earth. It is inaccessible except when all of the eleven Clan Lords are present with each of their keys. What resides in the building is known only by the eleven, is it a prison? A temple? Portal to another realm? the rumours are all we have..
-The Sunken Fortress-
Once said to be the greatest structure ever made, now fallen into the inescapable grasp of decay, yet it serves it's function for the Kafar Clan as their Sanctuary, They both repair and fortifies their Home. The Citadel was created in such devious ways as to deflect siege ammunition. the halls bears ominous portraits of persons long forgotten.
-The Seared Chambers-
Located under an unnamed Volcano, the Gharos Clan resides here and meditates, surrounded by flames. It is also one of the few regions to hold large bounties of Dark Iron Ore, and one of the two places it can be refined in a furnace strong enough, the other being the Grand Furnace Halls in the Silenced Mines.
-The Grand Library-
Inhabited by both the Rolvex Clan and the Nu'jelu Clan, they serve the Library by searching the depths for whatever knowledge they can find. The Library consists of huge bookcases, hewn from volcanic rock. Stairs and other ways of climbing them have been expertisely crafted into them, as they are far too tall for ordinary 'perusing'.

Wow great story. I was engulfed in every part of it. Anything more? I want to learn the ways of the mole! Oh yeah and I'm not one of those human spy people. I want peace for all races! "Legacy. What is a legacy? It's planting seeds in a garden you never get to see."

--<<Languages>>--
We all speak formal English, but in the older days we had one of our own. Known only by a few, it is called 'The Old Tongue', or 'Sirithis'. Here is a few phrases used sometimes.
-Fakricht-Nalai: A promise of a slow & painful demise to your enemies.
-Suz'prome: "It will be done."
-Kahz Vor Derev: "Victory or Death!"
-Keht: "Coward/Weakling"
-Laz: A friendly notion put on the end of a Male Mole's Name.
-Liz: A friendly notion put on the end of a Female Mole's Name.
-Other Languages-
While hardly ever used, we have managed learn Elven & Gnomish by finding various books & journals in our time. Also, we can simply speak directly into ones mind, bypassing any language barrier.

--<<Glyphs>>--
The dark etchings of power... Glyphs can store & utilize energies normal Runes cannot. Depending on how you use them, the Glyphs can be both Offensive & Defensive. Dampening & Amplifying Glyphs are marked on your skin, mostly on your back but sometimes on your face if it is used as a penance. Here is a few...

->Sound Glyph<-
-When unleashed, the Sound Glyph releases a reverberating sound akin to that of a tortured Banshee, any foe with sensitive ears will reel back in pain, temporarily deafened.
-Dampening Effect: Loud noices will be toned down to that degree that they don't hurt your ears.
-Amplifying Effect: The most insignificant of noices will become as loud as a Gong, a falling needle will sound as a boulder when it hits the ground.
->Sunlight Glyph<-
-When unleashed, thousands of sunbeams will explode from the caster, while the light is Magical and as such it cannot hinder Shadow Magic, it will temporarily blind or severely harm those with light-sensitive eyes and skin.
-Dampening Effect: Sun-induced Hysteria will only prevent shadow magic and will no longer cause the Mole to be weakened in time by the Sun.
-Amplifying Effect: The most weakest of sun stream will burn your skin as if it was acid, the agony.... is incomprehensible.
->Blood Glyph<-
-When unleashed, blood & energy will be taken from your body to create a large, harmful explosion to all around you
-Dampening Effect: Pain is reduced and your skin will not as easily be harmed by incoming attacks.
-Amplifying Effect: Pain is doubled, any creature that strikes you will 'feed' on your suffering, healing themselves.
->Hatred Glyph<-
-When unleashed, the most smallest of annoyance will escalate into full frenzy. Friends will fight inbetween & the most loyal of soldiers will turn on their liege.
-Dampening Effect: Anger & Frustration will be supressed, allowing the person a calm & rational mind.
-Amplifying Effect: The target will go into full berserk, declining them a free mind.

--<<Negotiating & Befriending>>--
Despite our sophistication, we are considered a 'Beast' Race. This is a debatable fact, but many pay no heed to it.
When seeking forgiveness or friendly reception, a bag of meat or food is often used as a token of peace. After the gift has been given, the visitor or diplomat will have nothing to fear from the Hosts. Despite all the unsocial behaviours our people may possess, we tend to our Guests.
Uninvited Guests however...
It is possible to 'Tame' a Mole by friendly behaviour & good nature. A 'Tamed' Mole will be highly friendly to his/her 'Tamer', reacting almost instantly to any threats or ill intentions toward them. Through a ritual, a Mole can perform a spirit bond, knowing from a long distance if their friends are in danger.

--<<Soldiers & Mercenaries>>--

-Regular Troops-
-Zealots-
These bloodthirsty & merciless warriors are trained only for one purpose: Slaughter. Wielding either a pair of Swords, Katars or their own claws, they strike out at their enemies in a vicious flurry. They have learned to focus their anger and let it guide them in battle, for this purpose they wear little if no armour except wristguards for parrying attacks. They are blessed with the Eye of Sanothos, giving them the ability to see life & invisible opponents.
-Iron Guard-
Heavily equipped & unbreakable, the Iron Guards are put in the front line to hold the perimeters. They wield a tower shield & a one-handed weapon in battle. Holding endless vitality, they are the ideal troops for a war which end may never come.
-Archers-
Accurate & calm-minded, they employ Longbows at distance and Short Swords in melee. They also employ the deadly 'Black Arrow', infused with void it ignores all kinds of magic & protection.
--<<Elite Soldiers of the Depths>>--
-Mage-Killers-
The Spellcasters most dreaded nightmare.. Not only are they highly resistant to magic, they also devour it. Among their abilities they can mentally assault a targets mind, temporarily damaging their knowledge of magic. Runes are destroyed for each hit their opponent takes.
-Clan Knights-
Fiercly loyal to the Clans, these dark knights are masters of melee, resilient & agile. They wield a type of sword called 'Oathblade', which will kill them if they harm one another or a member of a Clan. Blessed with 'the Eye of Suflax', they can read their opponents movements, dodging & retaliating easily.
-Death Rangers-
Silent as the night, deadlier than the most vile of poisons. The Death Rangers aren't noticed until you have a blade lodged in your back. Wielding a 'Two-handed' Crossbow that steadies itself by a special design that allows it to lean on your shoulder & neck, allowing 100% Accuracy. They also have 'The Eye of Sanothos'.

These are some series of parchments or diary pages i found in the depths of my Library, their authors unknown.
"I do not know how long i can survive this, i was offered to be a squire for a Clan Lord... But there is a ill omen surrounding this one! He shows little to no sympathy to anything, he is void of emotions except those of anger & hate... i've come to learn his nickname, his brother call him.... "The Heartless"."
"The Ebon Reaver is gone, but not lost. Armed with it, the Bane of Te-Kerej could surely slay that damned Kiefar... Not even the famed 'Dark Pillar' can win against the Herald of Void! The last place i haven't looked is the Chasm of the Banished, famed for its 'so-called' monster... Superstitious morons!"
"One could die for this city. A gentle wind constantly courses through the gigantic chamber, offering respite & healing to all who accepts it. Ahhh yes, This year is Blaque's year, Kiefar has promised a grand feast for all to enjoy. His father would be proud of him, keeping the spirit & reputation of his Clan alive."
"Hmph... Damned 'vampyres'! If not for the Promise, i'd rip their wings off & throw them into the Unrelenting River. I'd love to see them crawl their way out of that!"
"The Elves seems like a fair & beautiful race to me, and not to forget wise. An elven Wife would be a most interesting & hope-inspiring union, yet i laugh at myself for thinking that they would even consider to marry one of 'Us'."
