Er...any ideas on how to get Marcus to actually do something without seeming out of character? He's not the kind of person who would run into the line of fire to help someone, unless they visibly appear to need help, which Scarlet doesn't.

Unless he could use the gun Scarlet didn't take and attach it to Bit to make a sort of robotic turret. Then if he fixed the camera they could somehow control it remotely from the safety of the shop...maybe? Would that be pushing it too much?

EDIT-also will attach the knives to shoes to take enemies by surprise

Should I edit my post? More than likely, the goggles magically multiplied. Maybe they were secretly nexii, though why anyone would want to patent such a feature is beyond me. You'd think such a feature would kill repeat business, but there you go.


I've considered throwing something heavy at the terrorists, but helping Scarlet at this point would result in a "What the hell, hero?" moment - both in character and a characterisation standpoint. She visibly controls the battle, to the point where I thought it was more than viable for Lucky to simply ignore it given the chaos outside.

In short, I got the impression this was a quiet round. Maybe next time I join a thread I'll try characterising a troubled but skilled 25-40 year old who actually does stuff and asks questions... never.

You notice the lone terrorist starting to rise while Scarlet is beating the other one to a pulp. Therefore, in what could be considered both quick thinking, and stupid bravery, you chuck something at him. This gives Scarlet the much needed second to take him out before she gets shot.

You can help Susan tie up the bodies in the back room. It's possible that they might be waking up, so you could ask them some questions. Try and get some information out of them.

Marcus, you could take a look at Bit and see if you can get his camera working (remote turret may be asking too much, as Bit lacks the thumbs needed to pull the trigger). Not only does this give you an extra set of eyes, but it also means you might be able to get the mall up and running again, which would be invaluable.

I'm trying to encourage both team play and personal effectiveness. The idea of Department 37 is that, while you're acting as a team, sometimes your set of skills is required, and you get to shine for a moment.

That's a question for the ages, I think.

She is in hamstead physically, sitting unconscious at the top of the staircase in her underwear. As for where she consciously is, she got dragged into a dream sequence a while ago, hence why she is unconscious at the top of the stairs.


Scary getting shot would be interesting, I think. At the very least, it would show everyone that she is certainly not human. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
