Annie,
The “main demon*, are you talking about Demon God? He has not touched the mortal realm, ever, since Creation; there is no way any human can directly work for him. The Demon God does not care about non-demons, but if some cults seem to worship him, he would not care, even if they are demons. His personality is planned to be wrathful, powerful, indomitable, yet mournful about the suffering demons have sustained from humans. But he has no need for help from anything, he's a god after all. Only the Seven Archdemons can get his attention.
Capt,
Since last time, the Inquisition/Darius Arenar has sent a regiment to Ironwolf castle, which has joined the Romans in the siege. Fifty Inquisitional crossbowmen in breastplates, backplates, helmets, swords and bucklers, along with a captain, lieutenant, and priest, the three who wear fuller plate armour, have been suppressing the walls of Ironwolf Castle, shooting at the spear-thrower werewolves. Details of the siege are on page 62-63; the Inquisitional soldiers are currently before the southern gatehouse, but some are running up to the walls to shoot from them into the werewolves in the courtyard as well as in the towers and other sections of the walls.
Prior to the siege, a detachment of Inquisitors found ruins containing the soul of Ironwolf, and followed it to the castle, where upon entering the castle, they were massacred by the lycanthropes residing there. Only the priest and one soldier survived, the soldier galloping back to the Holy City with a scroll which found itself in Darius' hands, but the soldier died of his wounds. The priest was met by Annie on the drawbridge but soon killed by werewolves, though this gave Annie a chance to flee.
Meanwhile, Darius seems to be behind the scenes. In the Golden Continent, the grand inquisitor (can't remember his name) will be partaking in the fight against the Djinn King/Archdemon of the Golden Continent.
