Hmm. Ok, sounds like a fun time to me! Given her disposition, I can't see her really caring about integrating much into civilian life (at least not how I'm envisioning her...I could do the character a huge injustice and mess up everything) so the being undercover part would be much more likely. I'll figure it out a bit more when I actually get to writing her introduction up.

Would it be possible to load a nexii into a cartrage or add redundant nexii to change abilities on a whim? It's a cheap way of bypassing your "there can only be one" rule, but still...
(The idea I had in mind was a sword that replaces the users body with a body made from magic, capable of sustaining damage without maiming the real thing, with each form possessing different offensive and defensive capabilities depending on the types of magazines loaded)

Hi there World Trigger how are you today?
Granted, I'm sure it's been done in plenty of other things too, but that was the first thing that came to mind for me.

A weapon with a Nexus would be able to take a magazine with a nexus, allowing for the swapping of nexii without the risk. You probably wouldn't want to absentmindedly toss that magazine, however.
It's plotnium, do whatever you please!

Actually, that kinda reminds me of another question I had. Is it possible to make a weapon that utilizes the fact that nexi don't like being activated together? Basically just a weapon that fires a super-grenade bullet thing.

It would, Inferni, and I'd appreciate if you'd stop reading the script!

But in all seriousness, magical explosions would be extraordinarily unpredictable, and as such would be frowned upon in conventional warfare. A safer option would be a weapon that fires a payload capable of releasing an area of effect magical burst.
