But, for once, I'd like a character who doesn't wear leather. Or maybe they have to wear leather - I mean, vampires are into that kind of thing amirite?
Is the leather boiled or baked, or simply rawhide? Ordinary leather, aka rawhide, is very, very easy to cut through, and would not be practical armour.
Being cut as a vampire is hardly a big thing though - in a lot of fiction, they can often reattach/regrow limbs and regenerate minor cuts in a matter of seconds.
In that sense, I guess skimpy clothes would be practical for vampires - walking around in a bloodied tunic with more stab holes than a fine swiss cheese could become a bit of an issue on the road.

The Dinosaurs went extinct 2,000 or so years ago because of some reason or another. However, the truth you have not been told is that, unlike us, the dinosaurs did not harness the deliciousness cookies. Coincidence, I think not!
