(I have a short reply to West on previous page)
Hello again Ann. As usual, just doing my regular things. I finished reading the opening chapter of a Legend of Zelda fan fic in Wattpad, so it feels good to do something like that today.
Also read a few pages from my history book about medieval Europe (A History of Private Life, Revelations of the Medieval World). It was interesting to read an account of which a French knight's wife, while collecting taxes and such, came upon a peasant who could not pay with a sheep that he was supposed to. So, instead, he paid with his daughter, but it was not selling his daughter for slavery, but rather, giving her for adoption. His daughter was given to and raised by the dame as if her own child, and found her a good husband when she got older, thus forming friendships within the community. Brief accounts like this are very nice to read as they show so much that is so unlike our own society and culture.
