I believe I had this format thing where you could submit character ideas for the story, similar to a bio in the Roleplaying thread. I originally planned on having at least one chapter that consisted almost entirely of Joric and player-submitted characters, so I think that's something everyone should keep in mind. It can't happen if people don't help out!

Or it can. But all the characters will be made by me. Meaning they have a high probability of sucking. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

It seems that Gwen would probably be able to become more active sooner with other users if she ends up on mainland during her intro, rather than remaining in Albion. However, it's your choice; either way, she'll eventually have to search for the arch demon of the Northern Continent, so she will leave Albion sooner or later. It's your choice, do what you feel is best. It's ok if things don't make sense, as it means there's openings for side-quests, extra plotlines, mysteries, and obstacles that can form because of those.

As for the Joric story, I have posted a review on it, though you have not replied to it Capt, or so last I checked anyways.

*blink* *blink* is that a double-post, Capt? I think Annie would like a word with you...

*blinks* come to think about it, with all these continents, will languages ever become a problem - or are we assuming everyone related to the main cast conveniently speaks a shared language (that may or may not happen to be English)?

Hey, Angel. I'm good. Not much going on now, but I had a job over at AMC.... Until I got fired for back talking a customer who wanted into the theatre to see Star Wars before I was allowed to actually let her in, ( She arrived 2 hours early. I could only let them inside the auditorium an hour early, or later.) Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

I'm going to flat-out admit I don't know what you kids are on about and I'm probably not going to find the beginning of the conversation to find out. So I'mma paint pretty assumptive pictures before I decide I can't kill time re-visiting the RSF and simply propose:

Some simple hand-waving can always be done and lampshade the issue. Characters could always we in some way aristocratic and have at some point in their lives learned a common lingua franca. Or through local religion have had to learn a second common tongue that's only really performed at their place of worship or between followers of the same faith from different realms (IE the Catholic Church only recognized Latin, Greek, and Hebrew as the only languages that may preach the faith, at least before the 60's).

I was putting some minor thought into making a character, azi, but since the only thing I can come up with is an assassin that uses a sniper rifle, I don't think it's gonna be going anywhere.

Unless I'm actually allowed to have a decent sniper rifle, and I'm not treading on people's toes by making someone else that has a gun in a not-very-gun world. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

If them Germans have a magical 7-chamber magical revolver that never misses, given by the devil no less, why couldn't a similar myth extend to a musket or rifle?

I can't imagine many of these kids being well educated though, seeing as how they're half demons who may or may not be actively prosecuted by the church. I guess it can be hand-waved though.

Yeah, but since that's supposed to be unique, I don't like to just jump in and go "hey look, I've got what's probably a more advanced version of your perfectly reasonable idea". That just feels like I'm stealing someone else's ideas, and I hate that. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
