Actually I do need to know if you did use magic to detect him because that'd be beneficial.

Oh. Andrew has this thing where he can detect emotions. I'll just edit that part out and have him see him the old fashioned way. Ramsay Bolton is the king we deserve.

I mean it's no big deal.
Practically what'd happen is your detect the six minds and the extra mana or whatever you'd normally use to detect the seventh would just be absorbed. He'd then recreate that mana for his own intentions. It'd be small, but useful. Otherwise, he has a staff to smack one of the baddys.
