Why bother to even criticize your work? Anyone who dislikes your work is clearly sexist, racist or, god forbid, republican. Improvement doesn't sell, and controversy is just free publicity. That's just the age we live in.

XD sometimes, movies are so bad they’re funny to watch. The best crack fiction is unintentionally so, right?
Oh, and looks like I need a couple more days before I can RP, I was hit by recent fatigue and mental exhaustion. Probably due to lack of sleep amid these twelve hour shifts, plus this work camp is full of adult children who are noisy and bumbling 24/7.


Yeah, that seems to be modern media and art nowadays. Everything just feels so cheap, lazy and rushed. It’s sad to see. I miss the days when people were motivated, passionate and eager to do what they love. Nowadays, there’s just playing the victim amid blaming everything on critics. Critics exist because market exists, let them do their thing, it’s for viewers, not producers.

For example, I never got mad at critique partners who hated my work, even when they made no sense or criticize me of things I wasn’t doing that I later found in their own projects. I never blame people for what I can’t do, I just assume I didn’t do good enough, it’s not hard. I’m willing to bet Annie as a director would have made a better StarWars trilogy because she has passion and actually can take heavy criticism on the chin!

I forgot to say, but I'm flying to Texas tomorrow morning. Will be returning to Canada on the 29th, then going back to work right immediately afterwards for my next two week rotation.
Ran out of time for RPing. I got started for Vampyro but couldn't finish, too tired, burned out from all writing especially past couple weeks. Couldnt even work on my stories or Legend of Zelda fanfic, even though I'm usually working every night.

After I return from visiting my Texan friend, then after my two week rotation of work, I am hoping my writer's burn-out will be fully over. See ya'll again next month.

In case the plane crashes and I die, it was nice knowing you all! Enjoy your lives to the full, develop yourselves, and experience all the love and dignity forever.

Midterms were brutal, but I pulled through with a 69.75% on the exam, which got bumped up to a 77%. That's a high "C." I think Canadians and Brits do grading a bit differently than us Americans. I almost failed the midterm. If I got three more answers wrong, I would have failed. =(

The film analysis essay was fun, but tough to write. I reviewed Raiders of the Lost Ark . I have one more essay to write, but this should be easier =)

Edit: Film Analysis instructor gave me a 100% for that review. It was worth 100 points. =D Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)
