I just returned home, as my first flight was half hour late for takeoff, then the airport was congested and had a one hour lineup, so I missed my second flight. I rebooked my third flight but then Air Canada failed to transfer my luggage properly, so American Airlines never had it and I wasn't allowed onboard. nobody knew what happened, spent a few hours talking to various employees but nothing. eventually, I accidentally found my luggage tho, so at least there was that.
I decided to rent a car, which cost me over a thousand dollars for two days, but I should get three hundred dollars back, though I'll get charged another four hundred and fifty dollars as the employees set up the return time that was impossible for me to achieve. I had not slept the previous night and, having been awake for over forty hours, was unable to think clearly, and the rental company took advantage of it. but oh well. hopefully, I can visit my best friend next year.
so ya, I lost over two grand for nothing XD oh well, I'm not surprised, things like these happened more than once in my life, and some things do not change.
