So, basically, you want to RP as an Isekai/Anime protagonist while the other RP'ers play as the harem?

Meh, I'm bored enough to be down for that.
um, no, not really. My RPs tend to be action-adventure. What I had in mind was a fantasy RP focusing on Elves and demons, that sort of thing, who basically quest towards a main goal to acquire power or prevent it going into the wrong hands, though there are multiple parties involved. The users would have a chance to intensify their magic/power for whatever purpose they want, save the dying demigods, or defeat the villainous forces (though some villainous forces have the same end goal, so are temporary allies).

Yeah, George's threads don't go too far, which I found strange, seeing as they always have the potential for a thorough adventure, but something happens. From what I noticed, RPs tend to die right before the adventure begins, or after excess exchange in character interaction. I did think that maybe it's writer burnout but I could be wrong.

Flavor, genre and worldbuilding aside, if you boil an anime/japanese light novel down, it goes a little something like this.

~ Anime protagonist exists.
~ Cute anime girl brings Anime protagonist a personal problem.
~ Anime protagonist mounts his/her white horse and goes on adventure in order to deal with the problem in the most violent way possible (ANYONE WHO OFFENDS CUTE GIRLS SHALL TASTE JUSTICE!)
~ Anime protagonist finds more troubled girls, and dedicates him/herself to dealing with their problems too.
~ Anime protagonist has just built the worlds most talented/powerful harem to help them steamroll over the final boss/challenge.

Expect any character development the MC goes through to be back and forth, because it's not the protagonist who is wrong, it's the world.

In the case of threads dying before they left the ground, I don't think we have the sort of community that can support a plot-heavy thread (well, we do, but they are on discord and would probably be better off throwing a full on DnD session). None of us really play Runescape anymore, so it's not like we can generate hype/ideas on friends chat as we grind woodcutting exp.

Rather depressed and miserable with all the shootings recently. I can only imagine what the parents are going through.

In brighter news, Elden Ring is quite fun to play, helps get my mind off the disastrous news. I reached the Bridge of Sacrifice with around seven thousands three hundred runes and defeated most guards, but got killed by the ballista's fiery bolt. So, I figured to be more skillful and stealthy, and instantly got blasted off the bridge and lost my runes (about twenty minutes of work) but, not having to worry about them anymore, focused on the obstacle.

I respawn, take cover after the first ballista bolt, then sprint across the bridge and kill everything in like ten seconds. I was like, 'that's it?' and chuckled over it. Really wasn't anything to lose seven thousand runes over but that's how you learn. What's odd about the Dark Souls franchise is that lots of stuff in them is counter intuitive. Where you'd imagine skill and stealth to be useful is usually where you just gotta charge recklessly and just go crazy.
