Ha! Well, I honestly prefer kingdoms, empires are too civilized for me. In history, there were empires smaller than kingdoms, and kingdoms greater than empires. Like, if you take a look at Japan, Japan always had an emperor, meaning it is an empire, even though Japan was never an empire. The Sikh Empire was also quite tiny, yet still an empire. The Celtic peoples expanded as far as Spain, Eastern Europe and Turkey, yet they're not considered an empire. There was a time in history when the Kingdom of Poland was larger and stronger than the Holy Roman Empire. So, not sure what the difference really is.
As for Rome owning England, in this role-play, England/British Isles is also home to Barbarians, Vikings, Franks, and Gothicans. In case you missed my little update, the world now consists of the real-world with all continents twisted into each other over the course of thousands of years, so imagine the world warping into itself, which mixes everything together in a timeless state. We assume that each major faction is at war with neighbors.

Don't worry, I just figured out how to work the dream sequence. I will assume the later part (your post) took place BEFORE the prologue-dream, so that way, I can effectively incorporate the parts that don't fit with my prologue and fix them together.
Anyways, a user posted 'hecate' on my thread last night and now his post was removed. Not sure why he'd post that.
