I'd imagine difficulty sleeping with all the chaos about down there! I had horrible sleeping for about twelve days back at home, my sleeping drastically increased when I returned to work so that's good. I sleep better at work camps than in my own trailer, even though work camps are less comfy than motels.

On the bright side, Trump's horrible presidency is coming to an end. I hope the FBI's warning of armed protests everywhere are heeded and everything ends peacefully, though I would not be surprised in he tried to instigate further rioting. Now is the time to make sure food, water, medicine, first aid supplies, and extra bedding in case of power outages, are prepared. You never know who decides to damage generators or water plants that happen to be connected to your area! To everyone, be safe, be prepared, be cautious, and be ready!

In more tragic news, female judges were shot dead in Kabul. Women gave birth to every saint and hero and women are still treated badly in so many parts of the world.

I expect violence, but I also expect that the DC Police will have zero tolerance for violence at the inauguration. That means anyone carrying a gun in public that day will be heavily scrutinized in certain areas. Also, here in California, everything has been peaceful in regards to the protests. I don't think much will occur here. Maybe a few protectors will get rowdy here in San Diego, but San Diego has the toughest cops I've seen. Also some of the meanest, and I expect there will be zero tolerance for violence. I'm worried for NYC something might go down there. Hope you are doing well, Annie. =) Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

Zero tolerance for violent/intimidating protests are the correct response. Armed protestors are already amassing but if they don't take their passive terrorism seriously, more people are gonna get hurt. It's so ironic that they are the ones blaming 'the left' for being emotional, violent babies when it is clearly reactionaries who do most of the violence! I'm just hoping we all get through this safely, I'd hate losing a fellow RPer especially now in our lonely state!
