Happy new year!

Seems people where I live have a dark sense of humour. People worked hard and fast to ensure there was no more Corona (beer) on the shelves for community transmittion. Looks like it'll have to be a corona free 2021...

Speaking of COVID, I had to deal with several idiots who had COVID in my work camp. They were all Italians and would not wear masks and walk out their rooms even though they're meant to be in isolation. They never listen. I was not tested positive for corona, tho, so that's good.

Speaking of drinks, I was told grinded cinnamon is great for smoothies and it is quite true! It's a great thing to add to my protein powder with cocoa, frozen berries, and plain Greek yogurt smoothies. Cinnamon makes your muscles better quicker after stiff from work outs.

Hm, things remain rather quiet.

I got another idea, tho. Would anyone be interested in a Warhammer roleplay of which we are part of a doomed military campaign sent by the Empire? Of course, we'd also be able to be mercenaries, Bretonnians, Dwarves, or anything else the user can figure out that would in some way be part of an Empire's detachment (some exceptions made from the original lore to compensate for a bit of extra freedom).

We'd be part of a forlorn campaign in one of the following situations we must survive, as each has an associated trailer from Warhammer Total War that easily gets the point across so I don't have to really do anything:
Intercepted by Vampiric forces in Sylvania
Defending against Lizardmen in the New World (big freakin' dinosaurs incoming)
Attacked by Vampire Coast while stationed in a port city
Ambushed by Beastmen
Sent to our doom into the Chaos Wastes (probably the hardest one)

Of course, users would be free to even be non-human/-humanoid entities so long as they are on our side but that might take a bit more digging.

Alternatively, there's other trailers from the Total War series about Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Norsca, and Skaven, so if people are instead interested in those we can focus on that.

If you make that thread, I'd throw out an open challenge to anyone who can write a character who dies in a way that is genuinely tragic, awesome or both.



Actually, a certain anime has recently reignited my interest in the "gifted" genre. Despite being a gifted training school set up by the military, the school setting suspiciously lacks any sort of military discipline. The academic curriculum is noticeably half assed, and though the students have been assembled to fight the "enemies of humanity", students receive no training whatsoever. Though the teens have free reign over the island, they are forbidden from contacting the outside world.

As it turns out, the island was actually a front by the military to "cleanse" the enemies of humanity (gifted children) without alerting the media. Usually they would test bombs on the island to murderify everybody, or cause a natural disaster like a tidal wave - but this time, they decided to send a brainwashed traumatized 15 year old girl assassin armed with only her wits and a bottle of poison.

The anime made me realize that there's more to the gifted genre than simply escaping a lab, learning how to escape authorities, or going to someone's apartment to make out and do some amazing pg lesbian sex with pixies for 10 or so pages (not looking at anyone in particular). It's a story where superpowers aren't necessarily the most dangerous thing in the story - the real danger is the irrational and sometimes false motivations of the people around you.

I always wanted to do that, that's why when I join other RPs I like having multiple bios so set myself up for deaths until one remained then finish the RP with my last survivor.


Well, that sums up human beings in a nutshell! We are natural rulebreakers, after all.

About one third of the way done with my plot post. It's being typed up over the next few hours. I find that my rp's will always be slower based, since I lack discipline and focus. This post would have been done sooner had I not completely snapped and ended up in a mental hospital on the 29th. I ended up spending 2 days there. It was... Interesting? Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

I think we all understand pink. It been hard for everyone. No one here is going to judge you for snapping. I am just happy u are better now.
