Hmm, things really have slowed down, huh? I guess everyone's busy with stuff.

I'm so good at procrastinating I'll miss my own funeral.

Wasn't there some sort of holy book about a man who did just that?
it happened quite a few times, actually!

Very good Annie, I think you're enjoying this phase of Omega! I don't know if Atarashi also posted but I don't have time to RP tonight in Omega, as I am quite behind in my critique partnerships for my friends' novels.

Moreover, it seems I may actually get promoted to supervisor in my security guard job :/ not sure how that happened. I haven't even worked for three months and my company's like
'hm, we need a supervisor in Vanderhoof'
'so, who do we pick?'
'certainly someone with lots of experience dealing with people'
'and who is educated in security'
'who's dealt with supervisory duties for many years'
'we gotta make the right decision'
'yes, let's pick the right guy for the right job'
'so, who do we pick?'
'how about that guy we hired two months ago who can't do anything right and never socializes with anyone?'
'precisely'

As someone with only a little experience in security, I found that people who didn't turn up to work drunk and/or wasn't suspected of swiping company property made a good candidate for promotion.

Boy, did that job have low standards.

Annie. =)

Sorry to burst your bubble on your character, and what she was doing, but I think you missed a small detail.

I made it clear that everyone had ran 10 miles nonstop because Vyras literally cannot stop for anything. Meaning everyone had to keep up with Zurga and everyone up front.

If Annie were walking with Brimblemir, both of them would be way too far behind to catch up because everyone was running and trying to keep up with an old man who who cannot stop. Things really are that desperate. I've alluded to this over and over, and you'll learn why very soon.

Also, Matthaeus didn't need to die. Vyras' desperation got him killed. Vyras is a very flawed character whose morals are questionable, even if his heart is in a good place. Take for example betraying those under his charge to self-mutilation. And not only did Vyras get him killed, he didn't even notice until people started cursing at him.

This whole scene showcases what people do when they are desperate.

I mean it's not just that though. It feels as if you missed a good portion of what was going on. What is you character's reaction to Brimblemir losing his cool and aiming his bow and arrow at a child- just to get everyone's attention?

Does she save the child pinned to the ground because he stupidly put his katana away. (Also, I don't know why Sakura decided to give a 13 year old, very immature child a sharp and deadly katana. Like he could easily cut himself. Especially because he is smaller than a human outside the castle, and physically meek. His immune system wouldn't be that good either. All this is reversible with a good diet. But I doubt that Subaki could swing that katana very well.

Malnourishment in children is a fascinating subject. First off, there is a reason why your parents insisted you eat your vegetables. My parents literally would not let me leave the table unless I did so. Fortunately, I liked my vegetable and even grew to like them (Except Brussels sprouts, I hated those, but grew to like them later on in life)

First thing. Lack of vitamin C compromises the immune system. There is a reason Scurvey was the bane of sailors throughout history, and it was due to them nor having enough of it. I think it might have been superstition. Sailors to this day are a very superstious people. Lack of calcium in children makes bones brittle. Iron in meats helps build muscles, I think.

There are other things I would touch on. But yeh. =)
