I mean, Nin could probably sense that your gnome is a necromancer. Mages know when they see another mage and that has to do with sensing and interpreting Magical energies surrounding said mage. In which case, Nin might hold back on your gnome, if only because your character is a practitioner of one of the most dangerous arts of magic. ( It is out of respect) Nin is crazy, but he does have his moments of clarity and can be quite reasonable. I don't think your gnome would want to be around when Nin returns to his crazed "must-kill-everything-around-me-and-raise-their-corpses-for-my-army" state Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
