Well then, I seem to be wholly ignorant of RS deities, I miss the old days when Zamorak looked like Satan, Saradomin looked like an Abrahamic prophet, and Guthix was a floating jelly fish skull.
Guthix being a universal constant was my favourite thing about the lore, which has now been removed. The idea that as the embodiment of nature, he'd just be reborn if you tried killing him, and that everyone who sees him only sees what they imagine an almighty god of nature to look like, and not his true form.

And as far as I'm aware, Zaros doesn't care much about Zamorak's betrayal anymore.
It's clear he is at least somewhat upset by it, as evidenced by his refusal to talk about it. He may not care for revenge but getting beat by a mortal like that probably made him a bit ******. Let's not forget he had thousands of years to calm down.
I think FOT* 2 (confirmed runefest content) is going to have Zamorak and Zaros finish the job - so the gods aren't quite as mellow as they would have had you believe.
It's also why Jagex seemed reluctant to kill Zamorak at the end of WE1, whereas they would have been perfectly happy killing off Saradomin.
Loose Shorts - I used to go by Pkuknight(some random numbers) and once upon a time, Avrilrocks87. I've been around since the summer of either 2005 or 2006.
EDIT 2: Would it be worth trying to create a Runescape themed roleplay?
I'd join it, though you'd have to be more specific in your intentions. Pretty much anything is possible in the setting, what in particular would you have in mind?
That's a good question.
There aren't many subplots I really like or dislike in Runescape, so it's hard to narrow down what sort of tale I would want to tell. I guess it could be something generic (ie. 5th age Myreque vs Vampires), or something more original (post-modern humans from Earth coming through the 'Dimension of Disaster' world gate is a personal favourite of mine).
I would rather stay away from the topic of gods, if possible, because their lore seems to be retconned on a monthly basis.
It's easier to join than to create, that's for sure.
