Spent all day splitting logs, using a splitting maul, axe, and sledgehammer. Put my tools to good use. I was surprised to discover that one of the old, rotting logs was cedar, and smelled very cedary when I split it into quarters. The wood on the inside was quite good, too.
In other news, I was not accepted as a school bus cleaner, as an email confirmed. I guess six years of mill experience isn't good enough. Thus, I am considering working in USA, as there's a big oil boom in Texas.
In worse news, death by overdose is now the leading cause of death for young people in British Columbia, Canada. More young people die form overdosing than car accidents. It's quite scary. We must legalize all drugs so that even more young people overdose! Oh, and tent cities doubled in size again, after doubling in size a couple years ago. Seems like British Columbia is becoming rather crappy, but at least it's not as bad as California.
