TLK is the first time I've had a male character in a while. I don't think I'm developing him very well though.

I'm reading through Ashes to Ashes. It'll be slow, but you can expect at least a character bio from me at some point Azi :) .

Oh? Thanks for the interest Seerek; this time, I made the general setting within four posts, two each for the upper and lower worlds. It's much simpler, and hopefully, as said in the RP, the RP will develop via submitted material rather than a fixed storyline or expectation. I also bumped my other RP just in case, though it's more of a short story-centric thread.

And maybe I shouldn't use the phrase "George's Girls" at all, it does sound a bit off.

Also, I don't think fifteen is underage for that time period. Although I probably shouldn't point that out. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I was actually in the process of editing my post on the TLK thread when my older brother came into my room and asked me if I wanted to go up to the mountains. So we did, because I felt like I needed some air and am now in the process of editing my post. I've changed the numbers completely to make it a little more fair, I think the Giganotosaurus thing should go, or at least make it a baby giganotosaurus that died, not sure which ( I think it would make more sense since to make it a baby or a teenager maybe the adults know better than to stray from their hunting paths) As for the ship thing. I think it is silly that I think I know the exact spot of where the tribesmen were, so I'll edit that out. So yeah, I guess I powerplayed. Time to edit. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy! =)

I am saddened to report that playing Dragon Age as Joric Ironfist is not going very well.

There aren't a lot of humorous dialogue options, and the ones that are meant to be funny are more smartass and cynical than cheerful. They don't exactly fall in with Joric's style.

None of the romance options seem appropriate for Joric. The only one that did is only attracted to women, apparently.

There are very few one-handed axes in this game so far - all of the swords I have found are way better. I haven't found a spiked helmet or a round enchanted shield either.

As for my progress in the game, my current party consists of:
-Some weird bull dude as a two handed warrior.
-The aforementioned unavailable romance option as an archer rogue.
-Some stuck up noblewoman ***** who is totally out of place, acting as a spirit/ice mage.

Story-wise, I just reached Redcliffe village to ask the Rebel Mages for help, and immediately changed my mind and wanted to go Templar when...
...It turned out the person who invited me there wasn't actually the real person who invited me there, and the mages had signed into the service of some ********* from Tever-whatever.

I don't know if there's an option to change sides later on, but I hope there is. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
