Do we know who the mad scientist's name yet or we will found out soon?
Actually, I honestly don't know the name; he is simply referred to as the Collector General, who is being controlled by Harbinger. So far, the Mass Effect franchise does not have a name for the Collector General.
Oh, didn't notice the new posts, typing fast to reply!
OK, yes, I think it is feasible that the Reapers could infect Gravemind, but, as Fishing mentioned, it would be kinda disappointing for the Reapers to simply control a superunit. I will figure things out, but I need Gravemind to being Gravemind for the finale of Titanomachy. It's called Titanomachy for a reason!

So, I take it you were disapointed by the ending of Halo 3, Mass Effect 3 and Deadspace?
(Truth was played and subsiquently infected by gravemind by the big climax of Halo 3)
(The Illusive Man of Mass Effect has been indoctorinated since years before the story began)
Issac Clarke was indoctorinated by the marker at the end of Dead Space, causing him to build another marker in Dead Space 2.
Considering their tendancy to take over important factions in-universe, why wouldn't they focus their attentions on eachother?

Original message details are unavailable.
Short Character History: Bob was working in this lab for many years because the Collector General has blackmail on him and forced him to be in his service. He saw all the horrible things that happens in the lab. He sneaks around this lab to help the prisoners behind his back by giving them food, water, medicine and so much more. That's how most of the prisoners survive in this place.
This seems like an ethical minefield. If you have test subjects, would it be ethically correct to sustain their lives knowing full well they will never be freed (or potentially may live long enough to become something else)?

It was pretty awesome when the Arbiter stabbed him, though. My main gripe with Halo 3 was how they killed the Gravemind offscreen.
