That's a hard one, which could go either way. Personally, I would throw a curve ball and call it a "wind" magic, similar to Dust or sand manipulation, which are seldom associated with Earth despite their nature. Wind typically deals with particle manipulation because of the obvious parallels with real life phenomena (and potentially because of the dust accumulation in the writers house).

I guess another way of looking at it is that you can't burn ash, making it fall under Earth territory. Since ash is typically associated with "Death" (a foil to a fire's "life"
, it makes more sense for it be associated with Earth.
Then again, perhaps different schools of magic could have their own take on ash magic?

I kinda want to try my hand at writing a yandere character. The question is, should I try throwing them at one of the current threads, or wait until the next round of threads pop around...
Does anyone else have any "cool" character concepts they want to get off their chest, but can't for whatever reason?

I've got plenty, and the main problem is that they aren't really designed for most roleplay scenarios. They all really need to be part of a story in order to make their arc go the way it should, since the character development, as well as the situations they need to be put in, probably won't happen in a roleplay.
That, or whatever I want them to be able to do is simply too powerful to fit. I have that problem a lot.
EDIT: Oh, and the main purpose of actually posting here, which I of course forgot: everyone is accepted, I think. I'll write up a starter bit once I get the time, and if you'd like to make an intro before that, be my guest. I'm not expecting you to, though. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
