Shout out to that time humans thought they would be tired of killing each other on a global scale only to do it again a few short years later. But this time, they went even bigger by involving war crimes!
Ahhh, the good ol' days.

I'll probably start writing something up this weekend, assuming I find the time. I suppose I should make sure, though: my plan is for everyone to start as kids, progress through an event or two, and then skip ahead to everyone being young adults, where most of everything will take place. Would everyone be good with that?
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
Inferi,
That would definitely add to storytelling and character development. I don't think we've ever had an RP that followed that protocol, it might work well.

I'm curious: why WW1 but not WW2? What is it about the differences that makes it so much more appealing to you?
Trench warfare seems a lot more brutal than bomb raids, and beach storming. a lot more close quarters combat. WWII claimed a lot more lives, but WWI just gets the cake in terms of brutality, in my view. Chemical weapons were used in combat for example. Hitler, for example was caught in a mustard gas attack for example, and the stuff got him put in a medical hospital for several months, where he wrote Mein Kamf.
Medical treatment for injuries was also in its infancy still. ( I think), Anyway, I get tired of seeing WW2 film after WW2 film. There seems to be a new flick out every year here in the US. It's nauseating. Several video game franchises are set also set in WW2. You almost never see any films or games set in WWI.( At least here in the US, since we got involved in that war for just shy of a year in 1917). Whereas Europe was in a deadly war of attrition from the beginning of the conflict, with no side seeming to gain the other hand until Jolly ol' America got involved.
The only game I know of set in WWI is Battlefield 1

Inferi, that sounds awesome. When we submit bios, would you want the kid version or the young adult one?
