Politicians use religion for power, or that’s how it seems to me. Indeed, Christ would be at odds with Republicans, pastors, and radical lefties, undoubtedly; I’d also throw in the KKK. I also respect the Amish, but I need internet access, even for all the negatives you mentioned.

Regarding hell, it’s a reference to the burning pits outside Jerusalem back in the day, where dead bodies, garbage, and aborted foetuses were piled and burned. Basically, Jesus was saying that if you’re a prick, you’re gonna end up dead. If there is an afterlife, I’m not worried about it, God’s got everything under control, he’s God, after all.

Well, I think I've got the thread intro written, but I've still got to get some of the information down. Not sure how much I really need to put up for the start here, but...yeah, it'll get done sometime soon. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I've never had an Instagram, Snapchat, Tinder or any of that bollocks. I had a Twitter for a VERY short time but I only used it to harass a former member of this forum and try to get them to post on my thread. My account was actually called: "It's Time To Post, Joe."

I go back and forth with Facebook. Sometimes I'll get annoyed and deactivate it.
