Funimation is dubbing the series - the first episode out. It's weird they'd dub this, but won't dub Konosuba...

Nah, the guy notes that the stars are the same (or similar enough a casual wouldn't notice), so it's probably time travel.

In his defense though, the kid probably knows nothing of classical history. Or maybe the writers just doesn't care.
