Then you have to make your character not a child. You can't have both with the way the system is set up. If you want to be able to use magic, you need to be old enough to do so. Nobody is going to teach her magic on this expedition, so trying to do that is pointless. That means you are going to need them at the start, or it's likely you won't have them at all. So a younger teenager, then. That's still too young, which you would know if you read anything about magic that was posted. The same point still stands, even if you don't believe the age corresponds with the initial term I used. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

She's 15 so, she's not a kid.

Legally she is a kid, by both the standards of this world and the real world. She's just pretending to be an adult (the adult age for a human in this world is 16.)

Anyways,

You need to stop trying to make characters that can do everything. If you look at the other bios, most of them are highly specialized (Inferi is a pure mage, George is a pure warrior, all of Azi's characters are pure warriors as well.)

Now, I'm not saying you are only allowed to be good at one thing. Multi-classing is fine. But there's a point where it begins to go overboard. You wanted her to be a warrior, archer, mage, and spy - those are four completely different skillsets, and none of them are easy to learn. She's only fifteen.

A human (her being half elf doesn't matter in regards to magic) simply can't be an effective mage by that age, which is why I'm not letting you have magic.

So what it comes down to is stealth, archery, and swordsmanship. I'm letting you have two, but you can't have all three.

Unless you want to increase her age by a significant amount.

Because she's not old enough to know how to do anything with it yet.

Well, she might be able to do some things. She just wouldn't be a combatant, and would instead mainly focus on utility or support spells. Even then, her usefulness would still be called into doubt.

The problem is mainly that, if she discovered her mage at the youngest possible age, she would still only have five years of study. During that time, she would have little to no opportunity to train her other non-magical skills, and as a result they would go rusty.

All of this child talk makes me want to have my own attempt at a tyke bomb. Who needs magic when you can fight with reckless abandon? I mean, wasn't this what made berserkers so fearsome?

Edit: To be fair, why does Annie need a full education of magic? I think a fixation on one style or spell is more realistic, and cooler.
