Azi,
Someone actually tried a similar concept, once.
Sorenzia: Taking Back Our City
. It was quite popular, actually.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
Now now. A no is just a yes that needs some convincing to eventually just settle on a maybe that no one really does anything about because they procrastinate on it too long.

Mainly because there were more people around and the TM was an awesome person. I actually like the idea of everything happening over time like that, but it'd have to be done well to have an impact.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Embrace the Power of Yes.
Embrace the power of NES.
EDIT: Sounds like a cool idea, Azi - though your idea of children actually doing anything beyond the mundane or playing pretend is surprisingly anime-esque.
Usually the big world-ending decisions are left to Teens and Adults, since children are just products of their environment. You can't really blame a child, after all.
