Your ship, tired of your futile efforts, makes a loud groaning sound and shuts off.

And hey, if you have to come back to it, then come back to it. I'd rather have you have a character you want that takes a bit than one you rushed that you hate.

That looks fine to me, West. Just as a point of clarification, though (probably for myself more than anything else), in terms of being able to "sync" with matricies, it's not the actual connection to whatever the matrix is that's difficult, it's the actual utilization of it. Anyone can use any matrix, but the difference is how effectively they can use them.

So, basically, there's no problem with the aptitude, it was just a mechanics thing I wanted to make sure you knew.

I was worried they would be considered OP, especially when compared to Azi's characters.

Come to think of it, what is the difference between military and civilian crystallis? So far we've seen military mook rifles... and then we have awesome civillian weapons (capable of fire/water bending, extreme heats, extreme cutting).

I mean, so far the civilians seem better equipped. O_o

The difference is that civilian matrices have less capacity. For example, in Path, the amount that Talia did during the wolf fight was enough to overload and destroy the fire matrix that she had, whereas a military one would have been able to handle it without issue. Military matrices also usually have more than a single element or type of ability, while civilian ones typically have a max of one available type.

Most people also just can't use them properly, and the majority of the general populace doesn't have one.

When it comes to the subject of weapons powered by crystallis tech, it's generally restricted in the same way. Anything someone that doesn't have access to military tech would have is probably a few, if not several, generations old already.

Sorry for the slow response for Wake Up, I’ve been considering Ryder’s next course of action. The last 2 posts haven’t been all that obvious; Ryder doesn’t necessarily feel compelled to help X7A, doesn’t have a personal stake in the fight. Hell, he would probably pay to watch the Reaper-Matriach-AI-Asari rip apart X7A for kicks. The problem is that by Ryder not lifting a finger, I feel I’m essentially stagnating the plot.
