Azi,

Thanks for the advice! I thought it might be cool for his spells to be effective against armoured opponents like in Runescape, but that would need some kind of weakness to counter it. I could just get rid of the armour match-up entirely and leave it at being good against ice and nature and bad against water and earth

After two hours, all I managed to do was form a sentence, a link, and a few prompts.

In regards to APTtS, I've worked on two lines and a headache.
Sometimes, I can do even less, on a bad day. Sometimes, writing just doesn't work :/

Duncan,
Strengths and weaknesses don't really need to be taken account for; we can assume these as the RPing goes along. The role-play is not meant to be realistic, anyways, so don't worry about it. This Colosseum is meant to have fun and take a break from realism my RPs tend to have.

As for a little trivia, originally, Atlantis Colosseum was meant to begin on the Red Line, beach of the North Sea. However, since I did not know the franchise, I decided not to. I also intended Vikings to make an appearance to fight pirates, but figured that was a bit too, say, medieval-centric, so I decided to change it to a ruined modern city we see in MK9.

I never really understood elemental strengths and weaknesses. I'll use Fire/Water as an example - a water mage or a whale are alike in that they aren't made entirely of water, so why are they always so darn fire-resistant?

Now, just follow me here. What happens when you set a beached whale and/or water mage on fire? It ruins their day, like everything else.

Elemental rock paper scissors is bull. O_o

West,
Good points, I also thought of that. In Scions of Sorcery, certain magic types granted certain resistances. Like, a cryomancer is like Sub-Zero, imbued with icy qualities, to putting an extremely cold entity on fire is a bit harder. As a real-life example, I once tried starting a fire with ice-cold charcoal, when it was around minus thirty Celsius, and had to use like twenty matches. Even when the fire got going, I had to constantly blow into the embers, and the fire would constantly gradually die. I eventually made it home, and even my shins felt like ice, and I could not feel my feet at all.

Yeah, that Mango guy is not making use of his time. It's nice that he's keeping old threads alive, but he does not seem to be reading them. If he is, he should not be reading dead threads, he should instead use his time to benefit the community. Partaking in RPs is a good start,

If George does not post tonight here or in the RP, I will have to post the next turn in Wake Up tomorrow.

Hmm. I'm trying to figure out how to introduce Aria - has she caused her own drama, or does she have opinion to weigh in on the current situation? Personally, I think any attempt to bump in at this point would be implied to be an overreaction.

That being said, I guess an intro doesn't necessitate immediate interaction with the starting characters. A reaction to a crime could be character establishment in its own way!
