I'm with Azi on this one. Has anyone asked the Princess what she wants? The fact is, the way we're treating her, she may as well not be there. And before you point out the timer, remember that we have let her um and ah for almost the entire conversation, with few concerns being passed to her.
I don't see the princess being politically dangerous. Nobody gives two shits about her beyond the perameters of the Escort mission.

Well she could have gave some of her ideas too in the Conversation and not been quiet the whole time.
Yeah, maybe she's not exactly in the best spot to do that. Your character might be a 12-year-old tactical mastermind, but Alicia, while having a basic understanding of quite a bit, knows a lot less about most of this stuff than everyone here. She's not an analyst, she's not a soldier,
and she's only 14 years old
. Add into that the fact that, as West said, nothing has been directed her way, and you've got a recipe for someone who really can't do a whole lot other than listen.
My writing is also at fault, as I could have had her say something, but there really wasn't much she could interject anyways.

She's the Princess of a imperialistic warmongering superpower that is desperately trying to stay relevant. She herself has stated that if she doesn't attend the meeting, it will likely be used as an excuse to start a war. It isn't her that is dangerous, it is what she represents.

I'm just saying there has to be cheaper and safer ways to start a war than charter an airship, tracking another airship and shooting it down midflight... in a storm.

You'd be surprised.
Besides, who says any of that was even part of the plan?
