Indeed, it doesn't, though I prefer memorable characters to have memorable deaths. I tend to prefer brutal, bloody, gory deaths.

Yes, I figured the two fights were within a few hundred feet or so, though I don't think my characters can interact with the others just yet.

It would be difficult to, certainly, and by the time one ends the other likely will as well. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I'm trying to think of something Gareth can do, and it is quite difficult to come up with results. I can't really think of anything beyond charging in and attempting to shove the staff up Harambe's ass, or trying to do some sort of elaborate mating call to lure it away. Both of which would be somewhat out-of-character.

...could I just say a stray wolf monster lurking on the fringes decided to rush him? And he was able to deal with it because the slow time aided his reactions? That way I can have him kill it, allowing me to write something other than: "Gareth continued doing nothing." Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

I'm a bit stuck about what Bridgett would notice. I mean, given the situation, there's nothing to do but fall back - but would she be in a position to notice the world slowed down around her?

If you'd like, although I'm curious how exactly he would be able to deal with it at the current moment. Not only does he not really have a weapon, he has a princess to protect, and these monsters, like I've mentioned, are like normal wolves when it comes to retreating.

She would be able to tell. It's something that you can kinda feel as well as see. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
