No. They do not.

I shall repeat myself: they have a matrix system that creates counterforce using air pressure.

There is nothing physical that comes out of the pack.

The effect is felt like wind coming from below. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Thanks, the less technical explanation is probably better here. It's just late and my mind isn't working like a normal person. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I spoke too soon, I am now quite sick again. It's not as severe as yesterday, at least. Strong headache, sore eyes, stiffness, all again.

I started the parachute issue, I think, seeing as I was the first to post about that. I misread and mis-posted.
