Hey, if you've already got everything in mind, just go for it. You'll have to get it all done eventually, so you may as well get it done while you can. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Oh my, I think you might have an information overload! If I had to do all that work, whilst studying for math and physics, I'd totally go to the bar. I've never been good at professional writing, so I can't help you, but personally, what helps me with expanding a world, is to write about aspects of culture and technology. I don't know exactly what you're meant to expand upon, but my RP Wild, Wild West may help you, as it has quite a lot of expanded features. I will bump it for you to check out, it may help you with ideas.



Holy crap, did Annie make an RP? I must check it out!
...it's under construction, so I must wait. It seems to be similar to a majority of Young Adult fiction.

To be fair, the only novels I've ever seen aimed squarely at adults are either factual, smut or romance (sometimes a mix of the three) - so I'd prefer young adult fiction anyday.

The paper I'm writing isn't exactly technical. It's for a creative writing class, it just needs to be revised, and the revision fills in for the exam. Unfortunately I have so much I want to add to it that I don't know if I can before it's due. I like what I have so far though (now on page 18).

Edit: Also, I can't exactly just go to a bar. Livin' that sweet spot between "legally an adult" and "able to drink" that the USA has.

Edit 2: I also may post this short story somewhere if y'all want to read it. I don't know how overly fond of it I am, but I certainly enjoy it more now than I did the first draft. I guess I could post it here, but it's at 28k characters and I'm not done yet. So maybe not that.

If that implies you are looking for suggestions, how about a post about what it takes to be a guard or scientist? You mention that equipment is only for them, but like, maybe describe what they do?
