And someone beat me to it.

That's pretty much accurate. Some more details are that there were seven of the second boarding party, but two have been killed at this point. Every member of the initial boarding party has fallen prey to bullets or getting thrown off the ship without a parachute.

More importantly, the ship is flying through a really bad storm right now, so the weather outside is absolutely awful.

We had another cast member, but he vanished after having me make an info dump for several posts. (I mean, I might have wanted to give said info dump, but that's not the issue here)

There's probably more unimportant details I'm missing, so maybe I'll list them at some point when they're no longer relevant. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

So, uh, quick questions... How much freedom do I have with introing my fellow?

And also... How many soldiers are down in the cargo hold, not including cloaky-throws-out-door? Relative positioning and layout would help too, but isn't strictly necessary. I am Inferi.

Edit: Also there's three soldiers, who are still somewhat under the effects of the slow time spell thing. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
