Fight, autohit and have fun with your bandits, fellows. Chaff for the slaughter mostly, just keep it within the reasonable realm.

Or rather, being outnumbered means you'll probably take hits. It's cool, they can be healed. Not that you know that, but stitll, wounds happen.

I don't quite know what to do next, Inferi. I feel as if questioning Talia could go basically forever, and I might just be reading Talia's tiredness, but I feel as if you also might be getting tired of it. Part of me wants to break up the interaction between the Chloe and Alicia because that screams Main Plot to me, but it would be out of character for Cooke to do anything about it because he's doing sub/side-plot stuff and hasn't joined the Main Plot. I remember you mentioned earlier that this is actually a tie in with the Main Plot. Sadly, this currently feels to me more like an exposition dump that I don't know how to escape to join the Main Plot. However, I still personally have more questions, and I'm sure Cooke does too.

When Cooke took the bounty, were there any warnings like, “Don't ask questions. Just get the girl,” or anything like that? Otherwise, I might ask something along the lines of, “Talia, do you have any ideas why the Guild would want her?” Also, he would probably ask if Talia knows if the Prismatic Storm has any known accomplices, beside the Blade Dancer.

Then, there are also some questions that I have that, presumably, Cooke wouldn't. Like, it would be nice for me to know at least a paraphrase of what was in the interview. Also, I could envisage him knowing about what kinds of artifacts have been stolen, otherwise, I feel it likely for him to ask Talia if she knows.

I kind of feel like I'm grinding this to a halt, and I want to cease that. What would you like for me to do?

Just have Cooke do whatever he would normally. You don't need to "escape" to join the main plot, since I'll be bringing it to you. I was going to start something in this last post, but I decided to let it go one more cycle so that West could post while still giving me another one before anything much happened.

Don't worry, you're not grinding it to a halt. I already planned to cut through it, I just went for longer than I had planned because of other people not starting right at the start.

As for the bounty, no, there weren't any specific warnings. Only that it's incredibly dangerous, and that the Guild would actually recommend that people don't try to take it and leave it for those that are at the top of the ladder.

The interview contained basic information, like the general appearance - scars and whatnot on the face, arms looking like they were made of metal from halfway up the upper half down through the hands, hair color and length, etc. - and other stuff I'll get back to later because I don't have time to finish typing it right now.

So, to continue:

Talia would have noted that the Storm only gets involved in conflicts revolving around artifacts, locations, or people that seem to have a specific purpose. While she told him why right now, in the interview it would have been unclear as to the actual purpose, only alluding to the purpose being tied to humanity's well-being.

It would also have been noted that the Storm doesn't kill unless forced to. There's no listed conditions, but since reports that have come in always indicated that those attacked by her returned alive it would be reasonable to assume it would have to be something serious.

All names of people and organizations she is connected to would have been denied an answer, including her own.

A lot of the interview would have been somewhat of a biography, although one that excluded names of anything near the present day. While it would be interesting to some history buffs, a lot of specific details would have been omitted, leaving only a vague trail for anyone to follow if they wanted to track the person. I'm not going to bother with the old names and places, because I can assure you that they don't really matter here. If something does matter and you would have known it from this, I'll make sure to inform you.

Does that help at all?
