Yes, we'd see something like that, but the geth were a minor problem. The main problem are the monsters, who basically maul you, drag you off away from your friends, then eat you alive, piece by piece. Of course, I did simplify my analogy, but the point is, is that inducing survival, danger, or threat may initiate immediate co-operation. But yes, character establishment is also important, especially for people who prefer storytelling, character development, and exploration of character interaction. I tend to be most excited about adventure, action, violence, and ferocity.

Any suggestions on how to be less irritating in trying to understand characters?

If I knew that... :P

Action, Violence and Ferocity are great... but mean nothing if you don't care for the characters (both in and out of universe). A game called "Guild Wars 2" experienced this, when they killed a team-mates sister. The overly "tragic" circumstances for a character for whom players never cared about lead to players making in-game memes like...

This round is… sort of difficult to write for, because Cooke (who hasn't posted yet) is portrayed as the main reactionary character of this turn. As cute as it would be for the cast to simply “assemble”, I think it might be smarter to introduce our characters based around this conflict – ie. if he began hitting her, maybe Bridgett (or another character) might “politely” ask him to stop.

I guess what I’m trying to get at is that the narrative should come before “turns”, and we should all seek to exploit each other’s characters to tell a coherent story.

Writing my post now!

Fun fact, just watched Gone With the Wind, except I accidentally watched the second half first. Naturally, I then watched the first half, and then the second half again. I very much dislike Scarlett; I find her despicable.

I'm admittedly not sure when I'll get around to posting for your roleplays, Azi. For Scions it's just been a while so I'm pretty out of it in regards to typing for Gideon, and Titanomachy I'm just sort of unable to write anything sci-fi related recently.

Vigil I'm going to try and write a first post for sometime later, but I'm currently struggling through a toothache brought on by the Gods jealousy.

I have never seen 'Gone With The Wind', but from what you've said, this Scarlett girl sounds like the the type of person who will brush her teeth and not put the cap back on the toothpaste. What a monster.

Should be "God's" unless you are referring to multiple gods, in which case it should be "Gods'."

Vigil looks pretty tight George, I might toddle on in at some stage.

I've created a roleplay entitled Omniverse. It's meant to be a bit of fun and not too wordy, but we'll see how that goes. I'm still planning on bringing Into The Fire back so don't worry about that; this is just so that I can get back into the roleplaying spirit.

Of course if no one joins then I'll just bring back ITF and we can forget this whole ordeal ever happened, haha.
Hags be hagglin', gods be god damn crazy, it's all happening ogre at Into The Fire
