I was thinking about rewriting my bio for Obumra...

(DAMMIT. We need a fan nickname. Since I'm the only subscriber, I vote bumbra.)

... to better fit the idea that the character is an orphan. Haven't gotten around to do that yet.

Please don't forget to post on Titanomachy. Yes I am being not patient.

And what good will it do you to pester people? It might seem strange, but not everyone has time to write posts every day. I'm just a spiteful ass, and I can hope others aren't the same, but you trying to get people to post when they can't just makes me want to wait longer.

Please, just stop trying. People will post when they can, and it doesn't matter how impatient you are.

No, because she has a noise dampener as part of her kit as well. It basically stops her from making noise, and since the people that designed it had access to Spartan statistics and abilities, I doubt they would have made it without making sure everything they knew of couldn't detect it.

If you don't mind waiting until I post, I was planning on having her speak to him. I just haven't gotten around to finishing the post yet, although it's probably halfway done.

I was just going to have Gary start moving gas cannisters and tell the rest of the unit that he would be defending the command room. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

...you know, if we're willing to sacrifice most of our remaining soldiers, we could lock down the command room first and then just activate everything else. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Yeah, sadly I'm not playing a character that can do that. Not only does she not want to unnecessarily sacrifice soldiers, but her best friend in the world would be one of those sacrificed.

...dammit West.

Well, it would only be temporary, and it technically isn't unnecessary. You'd lock down the doors to keep the Necromorphs out. Activate the mechs, hud, and lights to give the soldiers outside a fighting chance.

That done, activate the satellite and tell all nearby ships to turn the entire facility into a crater within a certain time frame (don't want to risk any more soldiers coming on board, becoming infected, and taking it back to their ships.) Then, reactivate the doors, take what soldiers remain, and hop on the nearest ship to fly away. Over the comms, instruct all isolated soldiers to do the same and hope they actually manage it.

That's basically how the Master Chief solves all his problems. Although I admit, the entire plan as a whole still doesn't look good from a moral perspective.
