After falling out of the damaged hospital, everyone ended up outside, overlooking a battlefield with Icarus Rising (the research station) off in the distance. The Warp has now made its mark, thus the purple tinge, purple portals, and arrival of the Servants of Chaos, and their plasma-spammers.

I did read your other posts, honest!

The question comes more from a sense of positioning - the group fell around 2 stories through the floor, leading one to reason they are still under the station. From what I understand, they landed in some sort of undercroft or hanger, with access to the traditional "over looming giant boss podium" common to many games.

My issue stems from the fact that they never really transitioned out of that area - so I assume they're still in the undercroft/hanger area... which kind of confuses me as to how character's would get a full perspective of the sky when said station looms above them.

What I had in mind, that I thought I depicted, was that the battlefield leads outside, and so reveals the sky and so on. It seems I forgot to mention that somewhere, so sorry for that, I sometimes forget to add key details. Hopefully, this is now cleared up.
