Well, if it really is killing your motivation to roleplay, you could just introduce one of your other character ideas. Maybe he wasn't sleeping in the Inn, so Dario never woke him up, causing him to oversleep until another Company member found him and told him.

As for Torim, you could always kill him off in the first fight. Or have him resign from the Company. Or just have him keep to himself and have minimal 'screen time' for the rest of the thread. Or come up with some other idea. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Also, funnily enough, Game of Thrones has a mercenary captain named Dario. I didn't steal the name from GoT, in case anyone is wondering.

Of course, they also have completely different fighting styles and personalities. Still, I thought it was a funny coincidence. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
