Well, the "Let them eat cake" quote actually
was
fake news. Outside of revolutionary propaganda, there is nothing suggesting that she ever actually said that.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
Oh, I don't hate asari, though I will admit, in my Mass Effect fanfic, the most brutal deaths are meant to be reserved for the asari characters. Similarly, my quarian characters are also planned to undergo brutal, gory, violent deaths.
Hm, maybe I am somewhat of a hypocrite for saying I don't hate asari, as I also said that Tali (a female quarian, a main character in Mass Effect) has an annoying voice. Liara is also very annoying to listen to. In fact, Liara is one of the most annoying-sounding characters in my entire gaming experiences.
...and I reserve the most brutal deaths for the two most annoying characters' races from Mass Effect in my fanfic... maybe I really do unconsciously hate asari and quarians? Heh, I will admit a little sadism on my part. In Mass Effect 2, I sent Tali to the vents at the Collector base, and just left her in there before the last button. She complained about the heat, then shouted she was cooking to death, so I just stood idly by the panel and let her roast to death.
You're right. I seem to have failed separating crossdressing and transgenderism, I am not aware of medieval folk believing they were another gender, but in Roman Times, there was somewhat something like that. I don't know if it occurred in medieval Europe. I guess people were too concerned about Vikings, Muslim raiders, Mongol raiders, Teutonic crusaders, Cathar crusaders, more Muslim raiders, Black Death, religious wars, and who knows what else!
