The qualms I have now are about the setting. I mean, if characters aren't connected in some way, they could go entire arcs without ever having cause to interact.
I would suggest either a small town or a school. A location where they actually have a chance to see each other on a daily basis. Other than that, they don't have to be directly connected - the other characters will stand out no matter what, because they are going to be the only other people who consistently do something different each day.
I find it difficult to believe people living in a small town wouldn't be connected in some way - especially in a rural school, which could easily consist of a couple dozen students at best.
Also, wouldn't it be a little too easy if every day played out the exact same way? It's easy for us to perceive time as static, but if we're moving timelines, it could be possible that other people may make slightly different decisions, even without memory of other timelines.

I'm thinking of being a healing type priest person in Echion. Question is: Do I need to submit a Golem race bio to have a golem? Or is I good?
The problem is that Golems aren't a race. They are magical constructs, created when a wizard bound his or her soul to a stone sculpture, and they are bound to serve that wizard until he or she either dies or recalls the soul. Even if the golem does gain free will, they are emotionless, and most of them just attack anything on sight.
They also aren't capable of casting their own magic. Although I suppose faith magic could
technically
be given to a Golem, it has to come from the Aspects of Good. And since Golems are emotionless, they would be incapable of feeling the prerequisite emotions like compassion.
Could I suggest a Drakonian instead? I know I said they aren't capable of magic, but I was more referring to Mana Magic. Faith Magic and Craft Magic don't require the user to have any personal magical talent - faith magic comes from the Gods, while craft magic is done with naturally occurring materials.
Edit: OH! You meant HAVE a golem. That's my bad. Yes, your character can have a Golem.
But you'd need to have Mana Magic, and the gods don't grant Faith Magic to people who already have their own natural magical talent, although they are still welcomed into the priesthood. If you want to be a healer, you'll have to rely on Alchemy potions.

Well, I really meant one or the other. You're in a small town where everyone knows each other, or a larger town or city where the characters attend the same school.

Maybe whoever is trying to start off this event is
also
caught up in the loop, and is trying different approaches to reach the goal, and eventually concludes that they must kill the people trying to stop them (who they don't know just yet.)

Not at all - While everything may play out the same naturally, input from the players can change events. So for example, saving that one person you knew was going to die otherwise could bring forth a second problem that you couldn't have known about previously. I feel as if the loop can't end unless the characters prevent the tragic event perfectly, thus dealing with secondary problems as well.

I can't wait to see what happens in into the void.
OH! He's Emo!
I completely forgot about Into the Void. I thought Annie just accidentally slipped up and mistakenly mentioned another thread by accident. A thread that was long, long dead and no longer exists.
