Either Half-Life 3 is released, or Gabe Newell dies of obesity, someone takes his place, and Half-Life 3 is released anyways. It's a win-win situation.

The old Star Wars films have a rather retro-feel, the robots are almost steampunk. It's quite different. I only played the first two Halo games, Halo 3 I think I played in multiplayer for an hour or two with a few of my brother's friends, years ago.

I really like Halo 2, it's one of my most favorite games. Playing as an Elite was quite the surprise, especially when the last boss is done when you are the Arbiter, not the Spartan. I wish more games did that.

Alternatively, you can also play Star Wars Battlefront, the first one, it's pretty cheap on Steam, and basically covers everything from Star Wars 1-6.

Anyways, I will post tomorrow for the RP.

I miss the old continuity of star wars - what with Boba Fett's ongoing quest for immortality and Luke Skywalker becoming a sith lord (before face-heel revolving back to the good side of the force). Oddly enough, if I remember correctly, Han and Leia's son in that continuity also became a sith lord.

Tbh, there is a similar character in another game (Guild Wars 2) called Brahm, who is practically the universes chew toy... and recently has been trying to make his own headway in the world, while shutting down opposing viewpoints because they “don’t understand his pain”

It seems nobody is fond of angsty teen architypes; if you're not a cold sociopath, you're appariantly just not cut out to be a villain.

And thus it is put up to Inferi if Rem realizes it's him or not or if it happens somewhere during the mission.

She doesn't even need to realize for certain. There's one question that should clear up the whole thing, and that'll get asked as soon as I get around to finishing the post.

TFW a villain revealed (which means it has promise) turns out to be utter shit. Yes, Kylo Ren, I'm talking about you.

Can you explain to me why you think he's so bad? I don't really think he was the best, but neither do I agree with the haters that refuse to even acknowledge his existence.

A whiny bitch? What about him makes him that? Sure, he falls into the angsty teenager stereotype, which by definition might have a bit of a whiny streak, but I don't feel as though that phrase accurately describes him. A bitch, definitely not. The only thing I can think of that might qualify him for that is the loss at the end, but there's so many factors in play there (including plot armor) that I really don't believe that's a good example.

Besides, I don't even see him as the real villain at this point. The primary antagonist, sure, but not the overarching villain.

I would like to note, just for the record, that I went into the movie expecting him to be a terrible antagonist because he was an angsty teen, and I did not come to that overall conclusion by the end.

"My mummy and daddy don't love me. Waa waa waa, throw strop and kill Jedi because there nobody else around to love me. Waaaaaa."

"Daddy came back for me and says he loves me. He not there for me when I was a widdle kid so me kill him. Waaaaaaaaaaa."

The Jedi were there for him. They would have helped him out and explained how busy his parents were. They probably did. But nooooo, he has to take out revenge on the good side because "My parents don't wuv me!!!!!!" Are the rest of the Sith like that? I only hope the original movies actually live up to the classic template.

Not that I can make much more judgement anyway because all I saw were the prequels to which I remember only small bits of, and was quite disappointed when I saw Force Awakens.

Sorry, I've just been put off a little bit, but I am trying to take some interest.
