If I had to summarise it in 3 points.


~ New York was devastated by a mysterious power seven years ago. This power makes people moodier and more prone to less rational acts on a full moon. Needless to say, "New" New York is built atop the rubble of "New York".

~ Your character has the potential to unlock a magical ability to solve a stressful situation. For example, if you wished to see the world burn, you would likely receive pyrokinetic abilities.

~ Heaven and Earth will move to provide opportunities to reside in New New York, regardless of where in the world you came from.




Anything beyond that I intend to be character driven. I don't want to make a definitive plot until I get a cast. But. In essence. Think "Generic superhero thread"!

1- If your character feels they need it to fulfil their wish, you could potentially obtain complex superpowers that incorporates more than one ability (ie. required secondary abilities). I guess you could also make consecutive wishes for unrelated powers (if you're willing to subject your character to a tragedy conga line).

For example, you're falling to your death. You develop gravity control to save yourself, but wake up a week later paralysed (temporarily). Alone and scared, you develop and retain telekinetic abilities so you can still influence the outside world.


2- This is entirely up to you and your backstory. All that matters is that you’re (somehow) in New New York. I imagine the more you resist the urge, the more silly the process would become.

Just came back from my shortest shift yet: FOUR hours! Ha, I'm glad tho, finally done that job. So far, I worked since last Monday, ranging from 6-10 hour night shifts, last shift being just four hours. Came back home half an hour ago, finished a shower, now I'm ready to finish picture-hunting for my thread!

I see West has a new thread, too, I will have to check it out. I think the franchises Crow and Spawn kinda fit a broken, remade New York.

Anyways, tomorrow, I should be able to start my next RP idea, I think it'll be my best RP yet, and with the benefit of being easy to get involved in: you literally need to just look at pictures most of the time.
