As an update, my scifi RP is almost done. I won't reveal everything, even in the thread, as there are a few surprises kept hidden from the user, but a clever gamer will see some hints to what is in store.

I am currently typing out minor storylines, in case the default storyline is not interesting. Minor storylines include taking the role of a bounty hunter (taking a role like Boba Fett), being a Predator, a Covenant Elite, a Sith Lord, a Jedi Master, and whatnot.

EDIT: To be fair, if we matched franchises up, I don't think the Covenant would stand a chance against the Citadel Council - it would be a "join the lesser races or die" kind of proposition. I also think there are enough individual heroes in both Mass Effect and Halo franchises to oust the Jedi order.

The Republic is hugely weaker than the Mass Effect Systems Alliance - who do hold a tight reign over their colonies - as indicated by the fact there are no human lead interstellar coalitions outside Alliance space. Sure, you have garden worlds, but as we've seen with horizon - nobody cares if they get attacked, nor do they have defences against an attack.

As for TOADITR, I'm presently writing some example bios, with the potential to add roles or even default character ideas. I've also been toying with the idea of "suggested" settings, areas administrated by a roleplayer, where characters can live, gather and meet. These would be areas like Hostels, Motels, Orphanages, Schools, Workplaces and such; places where new characters could feasibly join, meet and interact with the story without starting from square 1.

For example, lets say (character slot a) goes to chestnut highschool. (character slot b) joins as another teenage timebomb, and wonders where to begin. Should (character slot b) begin stalking superheroes out on the prowl? Oh, wait, it turns out (character slot b) is actually that guy in the back of class (character slot a) had never thought to talk to. One day, (character slot b) decides to take a walk and notices something weird. They think, 'hey, doesn't that superhero look awfully like (character slot a)?' EUREKA! we have a way into the story.

Although there IS something of a plot, I can't tell specifics until we assemble a cast and discern it’s demographic (A plot consisting of 4 orphaned 10 year olds is going to be somewhat different from a more mixed bag of characters with varying levels of maturity, so can you blame me?).

But the Covenant has a really huge fleet, or I think that's what I remember from in-game. I also think that Elites, Hunters and Brutes are a serious game changer, seeing as they could stand a chance against even Krogan. Of course, my memory could be wrong, or maybe I am overestimating the Covenant.

The Old Republic is somewhat of a defeated faction already, as the role-play mentions they lost to the Empire, and so were kinda tagging along with the Rebel Alliance and Earth. Some factions are not meant to be superpowers, but just ideas to throw into the mix, just in case.

As for colonies being wiped out, well, at least AvP Colonial Marines care! ...only to get gutted by xenomorphs and Predators.

Anyways, it's passed 1:30 AM, so I'm done for tonight, be back tomorrow to finish things up.

Personal bio review:
I'm going to be doing this for every character that applies, to get a general idea of who the characters are before we begin, and ways to improve the bio

Original message details are unavailable.
Blood Type: not sure

Most humans on earth have blood types. These are either A+, A-, B+, B-, AB+, AB-, 0+, 0-. Honestly, you could google it, or you could just pick one at random. If you turned half elf or something, who knows, you might have turned E- or something.

Original message details are unavailable.
Personality: Kind, friendly, loves to learn new things, can make friends easily, very determined, very positive, likes adventures, tough, learn to survive and able to fight if need too..

Pretty words. I didn’t add it into the bio because I want to be shown what they are, not told.

Likes: (Quirky things your character likes.)
Dislikes: (Quirky things your character dislikes.)

I would prefer you fill out these two sections instead with two or three likes or dislikes. A person's interests is much more telling of their personality than pleasentries - for example, Archer from Fate/Staynight (and the biggest badass ever) likes 'all forms of housework'. It's quirky, and somewhat adds some depth to his character.

Character Quote: Survivor

Not… quite… what I meant. I’ll probably need to clarify this?

Wish: to have warmth, Shelter, and food

A few grammatical errors in the subsequent paragraphs. I’ll accept it, but I want to know how Fire, Nature and Earth manipulation equals warmth, food and shelter for you. It’s a very odd combo in my opinion – and not necessarily the first “solution” that might come to mind.

Nature: Food, herbs. Yes, this is a somewhat logical ability given the wish – especially if Annie went full Druid on us and wanted to be “left alone” by her assassin buddies in the Black Hand. This is a strong ability already, and frankly, I think you’re handicapping yourself for not capitalising on this ability alone.

Fire: Okay. Annie wants warmth? You know what isn’t warm? A grave, which is where Annie would know if she were smart enough to apply the above logic. Fire isn’t subtle, it isn’t stealthy, and it leaves traces (ever seen/read the hunger games?). I find this unnecessary – especially when her wish does not tie into destruction.

Earth: Okay. But why though?

If I might make a few counter suggestions:
~ The ability to contract spirits to perform spells for you would allow for these abilities, and would allow your character to grow into these powers. This would fulfil the wish by having the spirit "provide" and look out for you!
~ If that isn’t up your alley, you could try studying more generalised magic, which would allow you to eventually grow into these sorts of powers. However, most forms of magic come with an “exchange” or a catalyst which you will have to create for yourself. Some mages use leylines (magical lines of power that collect phenomena), some their own blood or stamina, some use a portion of their own lives.

As a final note, I’m happy to expand on any option you decide to pick, or leave it be. Thanks for the bio Annie!

The Covernant fleet is maintained by a handful of individuals who retain litterally all of the technological knowledge of their people (and have a tendancy to kill people who know too much). After they're targeted and killed, the Covernant fleet subsiquently falls quickly into disrepair - to the point where by Halo 4, covernant vessels no longer have functioning shields.

If anything, the Krogan are superior to the covernant in every way - they posess the strength of a hunter, the intelligence of an elite, the daring of a brute, the violence of a drone and the spawn rate of a Grunt. Plus they don't have to depend on anyone to create their technology - they are capable (if not always willing) of performing high level thinking.
