Well, if you can't think of a subject to write about, create a world, setting or environment, and explore it. That's what I often do. My stories usually have a formula of: creation, description, exploration, and execution. Create something, unfold it, and explore what you've made with characters and their environment. I try to make things like an adventure.

Heh, I also overthink and overanalyze, but that curiosity really helps me create vast storylines and multiple characters. My stories will sometimes literally have up to a few dozen named characters, sometimes separated into groups. When making a story, think of it like an adventurous role-play, of which you are the constant thread master controlling everything. Sometimes, you don't need inspiration, just curiosity.

Ha! Hard liquor for me. Sobieski vodka is my favorite. A few times in my life, I drank a bottle of vodka to myself within an hour and felt absolutely horrible and miserable later on. I prefer European beers, like Gulden Draak, Czechvar, Zy****, and Krusovice, as well as basically any South African wines. Some alcohol does help be a fuel for artwork, but I promised myself not to drink as much as I used to. For 2015, I drank much much less. Last night, I had a tiny, tiny, plastic bottle of Sobieski vodka, slammed it in one go, causing me to shake my face for a moment.

Just picked up a handle of New Amsterdam vodka. It's pretty good for the 20 dollar range. It'll spend the night in the freezer and perhaps help me write tomorrow night lol. I've got some people coming over to watch Silence of the Lambs soon, so I don't think I'll online much longer tonight.

Edit: @Gunslinger, what's your preferred type of beer? I just had Left Hand's nit*o milk stout; if you're into dark beers and haven't tried it, I highly recommend it.
