I am presuming there would be streets leading to a car park, and then the train station itself. The Black Hand I introduced without Annie's permission are going up the streets, some taking cover behind various cars, all approaching the train station. But yes, as you said, doorways can be used for cover. Yes, the gangsters could run for the train and board it while it moves, but this will surely inflict some civilian casualties, as the Black Hand will probably shoot at them as they flee, and so spray bullets at the train's direction.

I'm not sure where Annie is, as Annie did not specify where exactly Annie's at. Considering the gunfight, I don't see how either Anja or Dirk could notice her, due to the noise, smoke, darkness, and threatening environment throughout the gunfight, unless they saw the muzzle flash of whatever gun Annie took.

I can continue onto my next post, but I will wait for your reply to this first.

I think I have an idea for Cradle - another form switcher, in my usual fashion. This time, it would be a wandering spirit who travels between the dreamworlds, consuming them. In doing so, this spirit can "attune" to the dream, taking a form for which they can "belong" in the dream.

As the character eats more of the dream, this form will grow stronger - eventually gaining a singular ability unique to that form. Lets call this a "Blessing", one that could range from mundane to awesome depending on the type of dream they are in.

Lastly, if the character left the dream for any reason, they would still be able to use this form - but would only be able to use that dreamworld's energy to fuel it.

While I don't imagine this character to be hostile, insane or generally threatening in nature, I think such a creature would be classed as a nightmare, given the options provided - one that if given enough time or inclination, could potentially consume a dream master.

Hmm. I've spent a post ranting about what it is - though is it worth continuing to figure out WHO it is?

West,
That's a solid idea, a spirit that consumes parts of dreams and so grows into something stronger. Down side is, I won't have any room to add it, so you'll have to add all content on your own if you submit a character as such a class. Speaking of which, I think I forgot to mention you can create your own class, so I'll put that up right now.

I will read new content posted in the RP thread soon.

Based on what I interpreted, I don't think there's much need for an entirely new class for my idea - there are two classes already that nearly fit the profile.

At first, I thought this character would be something akin to an unwilling Interloper - but it seems you have described them as somewhat always chaotic-evil characters hellbent on killing dream masters (or maybe this is just the common perception?). The description for nightmares fits what I intended to a T - but, again, my idea doesn't seem to fit the "character profile" of a nightmare.

I might be completely off point, however.

Edit: I guess what I'm trying to ask is, how would my idea differ from the concepts already provided?

Edit 2: I just read Annie's edit in broken, and chuckled. What could a few pistol bullets do to a car that several trained tommy guns couldn't?

(I will write my post based on this continuity)
