Ha West, I liked your opening for your character. Although I didn't mean you could control User-Friendly, you way still works. The prospect of a male human suddenly being reincarnated, reconstructed, into a girl, is quite the shock for sure! But you grasped the content quite well. Now that the past is gone, Impulse is her new self. However, all users who partake in the main storyline still have a feint memory of the knight atop Skyhook, or this will be re-remembered somehow sometime down the RP.

As a note, User-Friendly is a supercomputer than controls a series of robots, computers, machines, but the "veil" is a parallel universe; User-Frenziedly exists in a parallel universe, and so can access the users (or vice-versa) at any time, to provide repairs, new equipment, supplies, guns, ammo, that sort of thing.

I will try to at least start the RP with my own character and Impulse soon, but if I don't post tonight, I will sometime tomorrow.

Suicidal Rebirth has just begun! Everyone, feel free to join! All future users who join will begin the RP as the opening portrays: blackness. This is just a vision, a feint memory, after the knight was shot down by Scorpio. All future users will basically be build by a supercomputer contained in a parallel universe, allowing new users/characters to jump-in into the RPing conveniently and quickly, keeping everyone together easily. The parallel universe serves as the hub, as well as a means for repairs, new equipment, provides ammo, and so on.

In regards for the current designs for Impulse, based on the description, I agree it would seem rather unfinished at present - but, in friendly robot's defence, they tried to jettison excessive armour/weight to provide the advantage of speed. To help in this pursuit, the black... uh... swimsuit, for lack of a better term, would be weaved with electric muscles to aid in evasion and posess an energy expensive reactive nano-weave shield for when evasion is impossible.

In short, it's currently a practical cosplay outfit - with extra plating around the hips, forearms and lower leg, which are common contact areas. The impulse does, however, lack noticeable physical body armour - something you'd likely never find on a real suit.

I'm sure additional armour components are available in storage, but I feel it would affect performance outside of its niche environment (ie. in a zero g or areal battle, Impulse would ditch its hip arms (hovering device) for a chest unit/pauldrons with additional boosters, mobility control and air).

Of course, that was the basic idea - if Friendly Robot prefer impulse to be more... dressed for the part, that's definitely on the table too.

Also - are these characters androids, cyborgs, or just wearing advanced suits?

Yo Chasers, since I had the conversation with whats-her-face about a year ago, what exactly should I be posting for right now? Is it still interim, or is progressing to the meeting point the thing that should be happening? Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
